Chapter 10

I carried Lilly in my arms, rushing her to the pack hospital.

I looked around for a doctor.

"Doctor!" I yell through the halls.

Doctor Ethan comes running out towards us.

"You found her?" He asked looking at her and grabbing a rolling bed to lay her on.

I nodded and laid her on it.

He then paged the others and they came running, rushing Lilly to the ER.

I watched as they took her. I then thought of my mate.. Harper.. If she was in the condition that Lilly was.. I would kill every rogue I would see.. Lilly was like a sister to me. She was also Harper's best friend.. I couldn't let anything happen to her.

I walked out of the hospital and over to the pack house were Harper would be waiting.

I walk into the house and see Harper sitting next to Darren, both of them watching Cinderella.

I growl at Darren. He had his hand around my mate.. MY MATE.

My rage was building up.

I walk over to Harper and grab her out of his arms.

"MINE." I growl.

Harper looks at me and smiles. Then lays her head on my chest, putting her arms on my chest too.

Darren had fear in his eyes and left.

"I missed you.." I heard Harper say in her sweet angel voice.

I kissed her forehead.

"I missed you too.." I told her.

I then picked her up bridal style and carried her to my room.

I kicked open my door and walked over to the bed, sitting her on it gently.

She looked up at me with curious eyes.
Then she looked at my chest.

"Jason, your shirt.. It has blood on it.." She said worriedly.

I looked down at my shirt. It was stained with Lilly's blood.

"I... Lilly- she.." I trailed off.. A part of me didn't want to tell her.

"What is it, Jason? Tell
Me." She asked

I couldn't meet her gaze.

"Lilly got beaten up by Rogues.. And I had to carry her back because she was too weak to walk." I told her

She let out small breaths..

"Is- is she ok?" She asked

I looked at her.

"She's in the emergency room right now.." I told her.

She got up and started heading to the door but I got there before she did. I blocked the door.

"No. Your not leaving." I said to her

She put her hands up.

"Do you want me to stay here locked up in this.. Pack house.. While  my BEST FRIEND is dying? I've been here for 2 days and haven't been outside-" I cut her off and placed my lips on hers.

She didn't give in at first but then she did.

I let out a low growl as she tugged on my lower lip.

I grabbed her hands and she intertwined them. I pushed her back towards the bed until she fell back on it.

She pulled back the kiss and took a deep breath before placing them back on mine.
