1 Month Later.

There was a panic. Lucia was found unconscious in her bathroom the day of the wedding and had to be hospitalized. Cass went missing the same day. When Lucia awoke, she informed everyone of Cass' deformity and the search for Cass was launched throughout the Academy. In order to avoid chaos the public has not been notified of Cass. The SFA is also in search of Dr. Kings. Cass' place has been cleaned out and someone else moved in.

I've been buried in work since the incident. The SF talk about being deceived and Cass' sentencing. To think, her best friend would betray her like that. But you can't trust anyone nowadays. After all Cass was my lover. She had promised to take me with her. Yet here I am, alone.

I threw up for the third time today. I can't work like this. I went back to my office and packed up. "See you, Madison. I think I've caught the flu or something."

"I thought that was cured a century ago madame."

"A new variation. Anyways I'm leaving."

"I hope you feel better."

I already know what's going on. There's only one person that I can talk to about this though. Unlike her wive, she's trustworthy.

I rung the bell. "Renee.", Elian answered.

"They're sending your squad this time right?", I said as I sat for tea.

"Yes. They believe that she has been located."

"Listen... if you do find her..."

"I won't let anyone kill her."

"Th-thank you but that's not what I was worried about. I really do trust you."

"Thank you. I trust you too, Renee. What were you going to say?"

"Tell her... that I moved on. Tell her that I'm happy.", I let a sob out.

"Wha-what why?"

"Please!", I gripped my chest. "If she knows the truth, she'll try to come back for me. Then they'll kill her. Please do this for me."

"I...I understand. I'll do it. Okay? So stop crying Renee. Under too much stress you could hurt both of you.", she touched my belly.

I sniffed and stood. "Well, good luck on your mission."
