As I enter the school ground the next day, I saw a note at the bulletin. Nakabold ang letters at naka all caps pa... kaya madali yung makuha ang attention ng mga tao. Pero since wala pang taong dumadaan dito dahil masyado pang maaga ako palang ang nakakita dito. It says:

AQUAMARINES,

I WAN'T YOU TO PLAY WITH ME. WEDNESDAY NEXT WEEK 3:00 PM.

So hinahamon niya talaga kami. Dahil siguro sa wala na siyang naisipang gawin or dahil hindi kami sumasali sa laban niya. Napailing nalang ako at kinuha ang papel.

The meeting started the moment na kumpleto na kaming magkaklase. No wonder na on time sila dahil kalat na ang balita.

'Wala pang nakakatalo sa Aqua, pero wala tayong panlaban sa kanila.'

'Oo nga, ayaw naman ni Samantha at Kimberly maglaro.'

'Uy di ko sinabing di ako maglalaro ah! It's just that hindi ko kayang mag.isa.'

'May doubles game na ginawa si Quin, pwede kayong dalawa doon, pero wala tayong ilalaban sa main game.'

Yan yung mga pinag'uusapan nila. To make it clear, Aquamarines are known to be a group of champions. Yung mga unang members nito laging champions sa mga games at naiko.compete pa sa labas ng school at mga international games, pati na din sa patalinuhan. At mga Accounting students lang ang binibigyan ng chance na makuha ito. Yung ibang courses and sections, sila na ang gumagawa ng codenames nila na ginagamit din sa mga games.

'Yandz, ba't ang tahimik mo diyan?!' One of my classmates caught me.

'*i shook my head... Nothing, so what's the plan now?'

'Sina Kim at Sam lalaban sa mga galamay ni Quin.'

'And who will be her opponent?'

'Wala pa nga eh.' Matamlay nilang sagot.

I let go a deep sigh. Ayokong masira ang reputasyong iniingatan ng pangalang kinabibilangan ko, as of now I was the leader pero anong ginagawa ko? Maybe I should do my part now. For 4 years handling this team I need to put it to the top again. In this game, I should win. In this game I should be let my name shouted by the crowd again. After so many long years, this is the time to get back what is mine. I wan't to leave Aqua not in disgrace but with honor and pride. So court, see yah. It's now my time to have my honor back.

I stood up. Napatingin naman silang lahat sa akin with confused look.

'I will be the one to fight her.' Napasinghap sila. I walk towards the door, I heared them wisphering. Sino ba naman ang hindi mabibigla? I turned back and said:

'Just make it a secret! Ako na ang bahala.' Then I leave. Even my bestfriends were shocked in disbelief. Well, I have no choice. But I need to do this. Gusto kong patunayan sa bruhang yun na nagkamali siya ng binangga. I can't say and I'm not sure that I will win, but I will make the game hard for her.

I sat down on the floor and laid my back on the wall. In this place, I found the peace I'm looking for. *sigh... It's been a year, since he left. It's been a year my heart was aching. It's been a year of thinking about him. It's been a year after I realized that I love him. But right here, right now, I was left and I don't know where he is. Maybe what he have said before was true, after the graduation he will left but I'm not expecting everything to be like this. He didn't even bother to call or message me in any other way.

My tears rolled down on my face. I just let it to fall coz this emptiness I'm feelin' walang makakapuno na kahit na ano o kahit na sino. Kundi......

Siya lang.

'Brylle....when will you come back?'
