A Second Chance

back to school

We got 2 days off of school because the grading period ended. I'm about 11 weeks, I think I'm starting to show but Dylan says I'm not. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
I'm sitting in 3rd period, which is health and I run out of the room to throw up. I go back to class a few minutes later and tell my teacher, she's really nice and pretty laid back so she just asked if I wanted to go to the nurse. I say no and sit back down. My friend Mariah asked me what's wrong. I told her it was a stomach bug and she didn't ask anymore questions.
Lunch is still 3 periods away, and I'm starving so after 3rd period I meet Dylan and walk to the vending machines. He ask me if I'm okay, as he dose 100 times a day it gets kinda aggregating but it shows he cares.
After schools over I go to Dylans house and his mom's asked me to stay for dinner.
" dinner sounds amazing" I say not meaning to be so straight forward
We all laugh
" So having any cravings ? " Dylans mom's ask
"No I haven't had anything other than morning sickness, I guess that's what you would call it"
"Oh really, we'll you'll start having them soon, in about a month you can find out if it's a boy or a girl right?"
"Yup" I say actually sounding happy
"What do you want a boy or girl?"she ask
"It doesn't really matter, I'll love it no matter what. But I haven't really thought about it" I say
"Dylan what do you want?" I ask
"A girl" Dylan says
"Oh really" me and his mom are both surprised
"Yea" He says
I'm actually suprised, Ive always wanted a boy but I haven't thought about it since I've been pregnant.
" have you guys thought of any names?" Dylans mom ask
"No we haven't really talked about it"says Dylan
"you guys should talk about it" says his mom
" Alright for a girl ?" Dylan asked me
"Samantha" I say
" Awe thats a pretty name " says Dylans mom before Dylan can even say anything
"So ?" I ask him
"I like it" He says
"Do you have any ideas"I ask him
"Not for a girl, but if we have a boy I want his middle name to be Dylan"
" Elijah Dylan " I blurt out, the name I've had in mind since I was like 12 as the words came out of my mouth, it was felt so real I'm going to have a baby
" elijah Dylan " Dylan repeats
" I love it, it sounds perfect together " He says
After eating dinner with Dylan and his family which was amazing actually all foods amazing. I could eat a horse, Dylan drives me home it's still early but I go lay down anyways.
Later that night about 10 my mom comes in and ask me if I'm doing alright, we haven't really talked that much and my dad barley talks to anyone. My brother and sister know but they don't fully understand the whole situation, they just know girls grow up and have baby's and since I'm so much older they don't see a problem with my haveing a baby but I did try and explain that people should wait till there married to have babies.
I have a short yet meaningful conversation with my mom then go to sleep.
