Trapped in a mall, with a HOT guy... for FOUR days, over Xmas!?!

Chapter 1 recap

Mr. pushy (that's my nickname for his since I don't know who his is, but I do know he works for my dad, I know that much.) Anyway Mr. Pushy tried the door and cursed. It must have been locked. He turned back to me,

"Well it looks like where stuck in here until it opens, I hope you're happy!!!"

"Well I'm sorry but you didn't have to follow me!" I screamed and with that I turned around and started to walk away from him. Hot or not he got on my nerves.

"Hey, where are you going?" He shouted from behind me.

"To get the thing I came back in here for, not that it's any of YOUR business!" I snapped.

Chapter 2

I decided to take the stairs as they were closer, and anyway running up the stairs would help me take my mind off HIM and how much of an arrogant jerk he is.

Though, I still couldn't figure out exactly who he was, I know I've seen him before and it's beginning to annoying me.

He said he works WITH me at my dad's company so he must actually know me ad not be some murdering psychopath. But he can't work in a similar area as me, otherwise I would have remembered him, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER HIM, WHO IS HE?

I could feel my blood levels rising, and that was when I started to throw things and since I was in a mall that wouldn't be such a good idea. Not unless I wanted to take a bill home to my dad for a new window.

Stop thinking about him Rach, you're only getting you're self angry! Just ignore him. I mentally slapped myself.

When I reached the top of the stairs I started to wish I'd taken the elevator.

Oh god where is it? I'm going to have to wander back around looking for it...again. Great, I not only have to spend four days here with HIM if I can't get out but I'm going to know this place like the back of my hand if I keep on wandering round like this. I let out a tired sigh but then I had a thought that didn't make me as miserable.

Hey at least if I spend my time wandering around like an idiot I don't have to be around HIM as long. My lips tugged up at one corner in a half smile at the thought.

I took a deep breath and started to walk down the deserted hall.

You would think it would be scary being in a mall all closed up, but really it didn't seem that scary. It was normal, apart from there being no-one around and all the shutters were shut. Hmm... that's not how I would have imagined it if I weren't the one actually stuck in here.

I had been walking around in a daze as usual, when my feet suddenly bolted them selves to the floor.

Oh finally! I had come to the shop in which I had left my purse god knows how long ago, it seemed like an eternity.

I wildly ran to the shutters, wrapped my hands around the handles and pulled it up. It only moved a centimeter at most.

Instantly my eyes fell to the obstruction that was keeping me from my possessions.

A padlock, it was locked.

I closed my eyes in frustration. Then it suddenly dawned on me that I knew how to open it.

With being a mechanic, a car body builder and the frequent habit of shutting the boot of my car with the keys still inside it. Picking locks was just as easy as brushing my teeth. All I needed was a thin piece of metal.

I reached for my bag, I always had a little lock smith set in there. It came in very handy when I locked my car keys in the boot; and like I said, that was often.

It wasn't there, Shit that had my phone in! How am I meant to get out of here now? Oh this is just getting better and better.

While bending down to the lock I reached for my hair slide that held back my side fringe, and pulled it out. I had never done it with a hair slide before, I hope it works, other wise I'm screwed!

I looked down at the piece of metal in between my thumb and forefinger. It's not very strong, I'm not sure it will do it... Well it's worth a try.

I put the end of the hair slide in my mouth, clamped my teeth around it and pulled it back, removing the rubber ends, as it wouldn't work with them on.

Oh please let it work!

I put the ends of the hair pin inside the key whole on the lock, closed my eyes and placed my thumb in between the two bits of metal, pushing them to the sides. I griped the slide just underneath the lock and began twisting it.

It didn't seem to be working; I was so disappointed I couldn't help the tears that began to build up behind my closed eyes. I knew it was stupid and childish but I couldn't help it, I didn't want to be here.

I wish I'd given Dad that card when he took my others off me. I wish I'd never come here, I wanted to be at home. With my mum laughing together, eating tea that Frio had cooked for us. I missed Frio; she had nice warm hands and loving smile as well a heart of gold.

Tears began to build up quicker and I was moments away from shredding them when I heard this soft click.

I held my breath hoping desperately that it was the lock opening, but too afraid to look just incase it wasn't. And that it was still locked, shattering my last hope of getting out of here.

Slowly, still holding my breath, I opened my eyes and almost screamed out in triumph.

IT WAS UNLOCKED!!! I DID IT!!!

I yanked off the lock and threw open the shutter, only to revel a dark shop.

Then the lights from the hallway streamed into the shop, thankfully I could now see.

I remember coming into this shop, I needed a new sketch pad and pencils. It was an expensive shop, but then again nothing of good quality was cheap. Not around here anyway.

I walked to the row of checkouts and tried to remember which one I went to. I think I went to one of those looking at the two in the middle.

I went to the one on the right first, hoping I would be right first time. I checked under the counter, no purse. I walked over to the other counter and checked that one. No purse.

Frustrated I turned around; I could feel my checks warming up, which meant my face was reddening. I took a deep breath in, trying to calm myself when my eye caught something red.

I dashed over to the counter and grabbed the red thing. I let out a breath of relief and grinned. It was my red leather snake print purse.

I turned and stepped down from behind the counter when the lights went out.

Dazed I looked up to see the vague outline of somebody stood in front of me.

I screamed and stepped back tripping backwards over the step. In the distance I heard someone shout my name, but then everything went black...
