Ha, wanna know something funny? I tried writing this chapter last night at my friends house on her IPad, when I was a quarter way done, and the Wattpad app decides to freeze up and shuts off on me. I DIDN'T EVEN SAVE! After that I was like "I'm so done with this."

Now it's morningtime and I'm back at my house on my precious laptop, and I'm making sure I save after every paragraph. Ok, I need to get back to the topic. Most of you probably don't know what the heck is Pretty Cure. That's why I'm here!

It all started off with a Japanese magical girl anime called Futari wa Precure (We Are Pretty Cure) in 2004. It was first created as a manga by Izumi Todo.  It focused on two girls trying to get along with each other and to learn how to be a Pretty Cure. The theme of the series mostly reflects on the Yin and Yang. Ironicly, the girls Cure names are Cure Black and Cure White (i'm not being racist).

A year later, they decided to create a sequel called Futari wa Precure Max  Heart. Cure Black and White appear again with upgraded outfits and attacks, along with another character named Shiny Luminous. The theme for this series is mostly hearts as you can tell in the title name.

It seems now it is a tradition to make a new Pretty Cure series every year. The next series is called Futari wa Precure Splash Star that came out in 2006. This is considered the first "spinoff" from the original series because it features two different girls (although they do look like the original one) called Cure Bloom and Cure Egret. Their theme reflects on nature and animals.

A new series arose in 2007 called Yes! Precure 5! This series features 5 different girls who become Pretty Cures. They are Cure Dream, Cure Rouge, Cure Lemonade, Cure Mint, and Cure Aqua. Their theme is butterflies and human characteristics. Dream is the Cure of Hope, Rouge is the Cure of Passion, Lemonade is the Cure of Effervescence, Cure Mint is the Cure of Tranquility, and Cure Aqua is the Cure of Intelligence.

Yes Precure 5 also got a sequel the next year called Yes! Precure 5 Gogo! They too have upgraded outfits, attacks, etc. and also feature another character called Milky Rose, who isn't considered a Cure because she was originally a mascot that learned how to turn into a human. Their theme remains the same from before, but now add a rose theme.

Fresh Precure came out in 2009 and features 4 different girls with the names Cure Peach, Cure Berry, Cure Pine, and Cure Passion. Cure Passion is the first Cure to first be enemies with the Cures, but then turned good and become a Cure halfway through the season. The theme (if you can't tell by their names) is fruits and card suits ( Peach is the heart, Berry is the spade, Pine is the diamond, and Passion is considered the club).

Heartcatch Precure aired in 2010 is one of my personal favorite seasons. It features 4 main Cures named Cure Blossom, Cure Marine, Cure Sunshine, and Cure Moonlight. Cure Blossom's grandmother used to have been a Cure named Cure Flower, and Cure Moonlight was the first Cure out of the 4, but stopped being a Cure until halfway through the series. Their theme is flowers and nature.

Suite Precure came out in 2011 again has 4 Cures, but originally started with 2. Cure Melody, Cure Rhythm were the first two. Cure Beat used to have been an enemy to the Cures, but a quarter way through she becomes good. Cure Muse had been secretly helping the Cures until later she reveals her full identity and decides to stick with the others. Their theme is another obvious one, music.

Smile Precure started in 2012, has 5 Cures, somewhat similar to YPC5. Cure Happy, Cure Sunny, Cure Peace, Cure March, and Cure Beauty. Their theme is mostly fairytale themed and positive things (meaning the Cures names are all positive things).

Doki doki Precure is the current season that aired in early 2013 had started with 4 Cures, but recently added another one. Cure Heart, Cure Diamond, Cure Rosetta, Cure Sword, and Cure Ace. Cure Sword is the first Cure but appeared as the 4th. Cure Ace is the newest Cure. Their theme is card suits as well as their title loosely translating to Heartthrob.

In my opinion, if you like magical girl animes, watch this series. Even though it's for little children, I still see action and violence and a bit of cussing. I have already become obsessed with the current series. I got figures of the 4 of them ( I still need Ace). I also got back into sewing now, and all I need is a machine, I want to sew some of these girls outfits!

My Top 5 Favorite Cures are the following: Cure Diamond, Cure Blossom, Cure Peace, Cure Mint, and Cure Passion. What I did was I took personality quizzes on all the Precure series and decided that these 5 are my top 5 mostly because I can relate to some of them.

Ok, my eyes hurt a lot now, so I need to stop typing. Hope to hear from some of you guys!
