I woke up to the sun shining in on my face. I thought those damn curtains were closed when I fell back asleep last night. All of the sudden I was face to face with someone. "Good morning sunshine." I flew backwards.
"Holy shit! What the hell!? You scared the crap out of me!"
Jason chuckled. "Sorry my dear but as much as I would like to I can't let you sleep in anymore. You have to make yourself look stunning for today."
"Oh yeah. I almost forgot." I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I was still half asleep. I'm not really a morning person...
I quickly grabbed my clothes before I got in the warm shower.
Warm water is great to wake you up, not annoying pretend boyfriends. I sighed happily as the water rushed down my skin. After I enjoyed the warmth for a bit I quickly finished up my shower and got dressed. My directions were to where something fashionable but not too showy, that I can take a walk in fine. I chose a blue colored shirt with a gold thick belt around my waist over the shirt with matching gold flats, and black skinny jeans. I looked in the mirror and approved of the outfit myself. I then went on to my face and hair.
My skin is fine so I'll just put a little foundation and blush on. I put a little eyeliner in the corner of my eyes and some mascara. I found my favorite lip gloss, it is a light pink that has a hint of glitter. Next was my mess of hair. It's naturally wavy so I can't ever just let it go, I always have to do something to it. It barely reached my shoulders so it's not extremely hard to work with. I blow dried it and straightened it out. I decided that wasn't enough so I crimped it and put half of it up in a bump. As I was putting the finishing touches on my hair with the hairspray I heard hard knocking at the bathroom door. "Are you done yet?! We have to leave in a couple minutes."
I whipped open the door, "Yep. Let's go." He scanned my outfit.
"Nice. I like it."
"Thank you. Now where are we going?"
"This little café about 3 blocks over. It's kind of fancy and there's always someone with cameras. The body guards are going to be a major tip that there's someone famous and when they see it's me, well they'll take pictures like no one's business."
"Wow someone thinks a little much of them self."
"Well wouldn't you if you were me."
"Maybe but I'm not you. I'm a small town girl."
He shuddered, "I can't imagine how horrid that would be."
"Shut up." I went and grabbed my matching purse from my suitcase and got my iPod and cell phone. It was a little warm outside so there was no need for a jacket.
Once we got into the lobby we were greeted by Jeffery. "Are you ready Miss Jennings?"
"Yeah I think so. And please oh please just call me Carla."
"Alright Miss Jennings." I sighed as he turned and lead us out to a nice car. I admired it for a second. I'm not a car person, but I recognize a mustang when I see one. It was black and very shiny. I was impressed. I went and looked at it. I could see my face. Wow.
"You like it?" I heard Jason ask me.
"Yeah, it's really nice. Is it yours?"
"Yeah, I've always had a soft spot for mustangs." He opened the door for me and I got in. It had a nice black leather interior. Fancy.
He got in on the other side and a man dressed in all black who was rather large got in the back. You know it's not even him that's scary, it's what could be after us that requires someone as big as him to protect us that scares me. Are Jason's fans that crazy?
