I sat on the couch with my legs crossed and the TV on.
I listened to the TV show host. "Well it's been proven. Carla Jennings is pregnant. We saw her coming out of the coffee shop the other day. She was sporting a fedora, with some boots, skinny jeans and a loose fitting off the shoulder top." There was a picture of me and my pregnant self walking out of the coffee shop with my hot chocolate.
I chuckled. "What's funny?" Jason said coming up and kissing me on the cheek. "Oh my God are you still watching those? Do you have to watch every time you're on TV?"
"Yep. It's extremely entertaining. It's especially funny when they think there's a deeper meaning behind my actions when that's not the case."
He laughed. "I've gotten used to it. I find it all boring."
"Well that's because you've been famous for a long time now. I'm still adjusting to it."
"It's been like almost three years."
"So?"
"Fine, whatever floats your boat babe."
All of the sudden I felt the baby kick. "Whoa!" I grabbed Jason's hand and put it on my belly. His eyes got wide.
"Man! That baby is a kicker!" He smiled. "When can we find out the gender?"
"I want to wait."
"What?"
"I was to wait until I have the baby. So it'll be a big surprise."
"But Carla!"
"Jason!" I whined back. "We're waiting." I smiled and stuck my tongue out.
"Fine." He pouted.
"It's like waiting for your Christmas present. When you finally get to open it and you've waited all that time, the surprise is even better."
"I'm not a patient person."
I smiled and kissed his cheek, "Well then it's time to learn patience."
I got up and went to the kitchen. I'm always so dang hungry.
If you're wondering Jason and the group are working on a new album again. They never stop working. They have small TV shows concerts a lot, and every once in a while they have a large concert in a stadium. Their CDs are still selling really well, so we have an okay income. I can't do anything when it comes to acting right now obviously. I've decided to not be in that circuit until the baby is at least able to walk. By that point Sierra said she'd get me a job.
I got out some cereal and just started eating it dry. I didn't want to bother with getting the bowl and milk out.
I sighed happily and looked down at my belly. I put my hand on my stomach and the little fella kicked my hand. I smiled. "I'll be able to meet you in two months."
All the guys in the band have been having a fun time putting ear phones on my belly and playing their songs. They think it's cool, because the baby always moves around, and it feels like it's almost dancing, but who knows.

Two weeks left. I was sitting on the back porch of our house with Jason's arm wrapped around me.
"So Sabrina or Sean will be here soon."
"I know! I'm so excited but scared."
"Scared?"
"Well I mean think about it. They're being born into this lifestyle. You never know what could happen."
"Well, if they're raised right they'll be fine."
