Chapter 4: Realization

"What's the big idea?" D.O yawned as he walked in the security room, with the other members slowly behind.

The manager turned to face the group of boys, "do any of you have any idea where Chen is right now?" He mentioned, clearly ignoring D.O's comment.

All the boys shook their head. Mr. Aloy motioned them to the security footage. "Play the video, they must know what happened." The manager nodded and played the video.

An image was shown of Kris and Kai fighting, right after the concert. Kai and Kris looked away as the rest of the members groaned.

"Do we really have to watch this again?" Tao asked, as he shifted his feet.

"Quiet!" The manager yelled, making all of the boys flinch and stay silent as they watched. "Now's not the time to speak, but to watch!"

The scene switched to the area near the steam room. Kai looked up as he heard his voice on the audio, "I really miss you my-" he then saw himself run away.

Every member in the room turned to him. Suho gave him a sympathetic look, "who do you miss?" Everyone in the room waited for an answer.

Kai looked away, and onto the ground. He didn't respond. The only noise that filled the room was his own voice on the audio, yelling at Kris, defending Chen.

He looked back up, and opened his mouth to say something. He quickly closed it as his eyes widened, he pointed towards the screen, "who is that?"

The other members gave a confused stare and glanced behind them. Their eyes widened as well, and their attention was focused on the screen.

"What is she doing in our locker?" Luhan stared into the screen as the girl took a few steps into the locker room.

"Shut it, and keep watching." The manager commanded.

The boys did as they were told and continued to watch. Their brows narrowed as they saw the girl gripping Chen's wrist.

Once the girl said her name, she knocked Chen to the floor and Kai screamed, "where the hell is the security? Chen's crying out for help."

They gasped in horror as the girl reached for his throat. "Stop!" Chen's voice echoed through the room as the boys silently watched.

They gasped once again, as Chen's hands fell to the floor with his eyes slowly closing.

A few of the members let out silent tears as they continued watching; others continued to watch with eyes full of hatred.

They studied the girl as she grabbed two belts and a bandana. D.O, Kai, and Chanyeol's eyes narrowed as they saw their accessories being used to tie Chen up.

"Chen!" Suho's voice rang through the audio. "Open this door you son of a bitch!"

Suho looked down in shame, to not even notice that his teammate was in trouble. He turned his head back to the screen as he saw the girl drag Chen out the exit door.

The members stared at the screen as they helplessly watched Chen being kidnapped.

As the screen turned to static, Kris screamed and punched the nearest object next to him, Tao.

Tao fell to the floor with a loud thud, "the hell is wrong with you man?" He yelled as he was being helped up by Luhan and Xiumin.

Kris didn't say anything, but only looked at the static screen. He was thrown out of his thoughts when Kai pushed him to the floor. He picked Kris up and pinned him against the wall. "Why the fuck do you have to go around hitting people?" He screamed in his face, "I'm mad too, you don't see me punching Tao in the face." He grabbed his collar and threw Kris to the ground.
