Chapter 6: False Assumptions

"Alright," the manager spoke. "I just spoke to the police, they have detectives and agents on the case already." He turned to Xiumin and Kai, "I also have the venue's security checking the surroundings of the building, they just might be able to find something. Thank you."

They both bowed, and watched the manager walk away.

Suho walked up to the two; he cleared his throat, catching their attention. "This might not be a good thought right now, but what are we to do now?"

Kai tensed as Xiumin shrugged, "there isn't much we can do, I guess we'll just have to wait and see." He turned to Kai, "what do you think?"

Kai slightly eyed him and looked away, "it won't matter what I think." He grunted and walked out of the security room.

The boys watched Kai stomp out of the room and flinched when he slammed the door.

"Geez," Baekhyun stated. "What crawled up his ass and died?" Trying to lighten the mood, he only received one small smile from Chanyeol.

Kris sighed, "now's not the time for jokes Baekhyun." He faced him, "when are you going to stop acting like a little kid? These are serious situations, that only a kid like you wouldn't understand."

Baekhyun frowned, "why are you trying to start something with me?"

Suho sighed and interrupted, "Baekhyun, just let it go. He's just-"

"No. Hold your fucking mouth shut Suho!" Everyone's eyes had widened, Baekhyun never cursed for a bad cause. "This is the stupid shit that drove Chen away! Your attitude has really gone down hill man. When will you ever realize that it's you who is driving this band apart! Chen would of still been here if it weren't for-"

"Quit it!" Kris yelled. "Don't you dare say that I was the one who caused Chen to get kidnapped, when you know for a damn fact it wasn't." He slowly watched the other members, as they watched in silence with wide eyes.

"Now your playing silent and not even looking at me." Baekhyun stated, catching Kris' attention once again. "I've had enough of this bull shit, I would try and convince myself that Kai was the problem, but it's not, it's you. Your pushing too much, and I'm almost sure that no one can take it anymore." He slowly inhaled and continued, "I take in every little bull shit, from not only you, but from everyone. I don't see why if something pisses you off, you get to lash out on us. You, Kris, are the one that acts like a kid for everything! Showing anger proves weakness, it's weakness that you'll never have control of."

Kris avoided Baekhyun's gaze, "you're showing anger, doesn't that make you weak?"

Baekhyun laughed sarcastically. "This would be the first time I showed weakness, you show weakness every other day, Kris."

Kris stayed silent and didn't face anybody. "I just try to help, I get mad because I can't help. I was always able to help, I still can't believe that you would tell me all that, just because I asked you to stop acting like a kid. This is serious, I get angry when I am serious because there isn't a solution."

Baekhyun grunted, "that's another problem of yours that you don't get, you never quit. Everyone must stop at some point, but you don't." He sighed, "this is a serious situation, does that mean that your the only one who can be angry?"

Kris shrugged and stared at the floor. "I don't even know anymore. This conversation is useless, it won't help anybody but state how we feel."

Suho loudly chuckled, making everyone face him. He eyed Kris, "I guess that's how Chen and Kai felt." The members turned to face Kris, as they waited for a response.

"So your all going to go against me now?" Kris yelled.

Chanyeol nodded his head, "if we must, then yes. It is all about the facts, you haven't really said any to support your side of the argument. Though I don't really see a point to this argument, I'm not picking sides, but if I must, it be with Baekhyun and Suho."

Kris grunted, "anybody else want to say how they feel about me?" He waited and got nothing. "So let me just say this, I'm the cause of everything right? I drove two people away, and I'm about to drive the rest of the people I care about, away as well." He turned his attention to everyone. "As soon as we get Chen back, I'll leave the band."

Baekhyun's expression sadened, "this isn't what I meant. We don't want you to-"

"I've made up my mind." He turned and walked out of the room, leaving ten shocked members.

After a long, silent minute, Baekhyun snapped. "Why do I always have to fuck up?" He yelled, causing everyone in the room to flinch. "I'm an idiot! I can never open my mouth! Now I'm driving people away!"

Lay quietly walked up to him and placed a firm hand on his shoulder, "just let him be for now. Kris will forever be himself, and right now, he's just angry. Angry at himself." He turned to see everyone else, "we'll make sure that Kris won't leave for this reason. It's a stupid one."

Baekhyun closed his eyes and deeply sighed. "Alright, whatever I guess."

Sehun scratched his head, "maybe we should find Kai and Kris?"

"Why?" Xiumin asked.

Sehun slightly grinned, "maybe 'cause they're both angry, and them being alone won't be a good idea."

D.O nodded, along with the rest of the members. "Who looks for who?"

"Um," Suho broke the silence. "As long as Baekhyun and I don't look for Kris at the moment, we'll be good as long as you guys split yourselves up."

"I have an idea," Tao started, "Exo-M should look for Kris and Exo-K looks for Kai."

Everyone nodded and went their separate ways.

"Why is there so much drama?" Baekhyun spoke. "It's not like us, and I don't see a reason towards it."

Exo-K shrugged and continued to walk.
