"And... Rolling!" Tommo gestured for me to start speaking into the camera.

I began to speak, "Hi and you here with Ronnie Louis Lee and you are on the worlds first global audition channel, The You Generation over the past week we have selected 10 runners up and a winner for the first category of The You Generation 'female vocalists' to find out if you were in the top ten click on the link below the screen and that will divert you to the runners up web page.

Tomorrow Simon Cowell and the boys of one direction will be in the studio to announce the winner of the category, but first we are going to watch the third place vocalists video, and always remember you did excellent to get this far."

When me and Tommo edit the video we will upload a singers video at this point in the video to end it.

"And cut!" Tommo spoke."Wow that was good!" He commented

"Aww thank you but I'm sure it wasn't that great," I said shying away.

"No no no it was proper, it sent a chill down my spine and well... YEAH, Wooooo," he though I was good so... yeah that's a great compliment because Tommo doesn't think anything's good anymore.

We plugged the memory stick into Tommo's computer and went into Windows movie maker to edit the runners up clip onto the end.

I decided not to watch it because it would only make me think badly of myself for doing it.

I left Tommo's feeling an icy sense of clarity for doing something productive for once. I got into my car and headed off back home ready to face the wrath of my mother.

The thing is, I didn't tell her I was going out this morning, let alone that I had used up all of this months clothes allowance. Boy was I in for a treat when I got home.

I stopped at the traffic lights waiting for them to turn green when my favourite song, holes by passenger came on in the car and I turned the radio up,

"Ooo this is my JAM!" I shouted obnoxiously loud.

I could tell people in the cars around heard me because when I looked out of my window I received a few odd stares. So I just stared back until one by one they turned away. I quietly giggled to myself as I turned into my street.

I pulled up in the drive and my mother quite ferociously came stomping out of the house and marched right up to the drivers door. Shoot she looked really pissed.

"You young lady get out of the car and into the house I want to speak to you." She said pointing her pointer finger towards me. Ugrr why can't she just leave me be, it's HER kids for HER to look after, not ME.

I reluctantly pushed the car door open and scurried into the kitchen. My mother followed me and closed the door behind her so no one would walk in and disturb our 'discussion'.

"Ronnie why didn't you tell me you were going out today? I had to call Matty over from his girlfriends to look after Layla Joel and Cara he even had to cancel his plans with her just so he could make it over here. Your just so selfish sometimes." I was fuming, I was the selfish one? Urrrgh my anger is boiling over the edge.

"I'm the selfish one? I'M THE SELFISH ONE?" I shouted "look who's talking you expect YOUR daughter to after YOUR other children whilst YOUR too busy with work to even give them the time of DAY? How about all those times when I could of been out but I had to look after my siblings whilst Marty was out snogging girls and you were at work? You might have given up a lot of things for us as children but you sure do know how to push people away you know just like you did to dad! Do you know why he's gone? Because you were to wrapped up in your career to care!"

I looked up to see tears in her eyes. But I had no sympathy for her because she can't see what she has put us through.

I left her In the kitchen and walked past the living room to see Layla peering at me over the back of the sofa.

"A-ar-are you lea-leaving?" She stuttered. I ran I've over to her and flung my arms around her she snuggled her head into the crook of my neck.

"No, why would you think that I couldn't do that to you, I'm not like dad," I whispered.

"Will you tuck me in?" She asked as she headed to the stairs.

I nodded and followed her up to her room. I tucked her in and turned to head for the Door.

"Stay." Layla whispered patting the bed sheets beside her I walked over to the side of her bed and climbed in."please sing?" She asked I compelled and in true Katniss Everdeen style I sang

"Deep in the meadow,

Under the willow,

A bed of grass,

A soft green pillow."

I repeated the song twice before Layla fell asleep. It wasn't long until I was fast asleep too.

~

I woke up in Layla's room in an empty bed. Hmm she must have woken up early. I turned over and looked at the clock, 1 pm, maybe that's why she's already awake.

I crept out of layla's room, across the hallway into my own, realizing I was still fully dressed in the clothes I had worn yesterday I peeled them off and walked over to my wardrobe to get a clean outfit.

I ended up in some Hollister leggings, a You Can't Sit With Us tee, and pair of plain tan ballet flats. I checked my appearance in the mirror before confirming my outfit, and strolled out of my room and down the stairs to get some lunch considering I had slept through breakfast.
