Chappie 4

:O)3 DAYS LATER:

"Lay, Car, Joel you wanna sandwich?!" I shouted to my bro and sisters who were in the living room next door. They all came rushing in asking for different sandwich fillings. Layla and Cara wanted ham and cheese and Joel wanted chicken tikka.

I finished off making the sandwiches and took them into the dining room. I called everyone to sit down and we all ate in silence, as per usual.

"So is there anything you want to do this afternoon because mum left some money on the counter to do something if we wanted to?"

Everyone seemed interested in going to the cinema so we all piled into my car and headed off. When we got there we had to agree o what we wanted to see but typically with one boy and three girls not all of us wanted to go see the new one direction film surprisingly though it wasn't my brother who didn't want see it, it was Layla and with her being thirteen it seemed all right to let her go see 'now you see me' by herself.

We headed into the me Joel and Cara headed into screen 6 and Layla strolled off in a different direction, to screen 2 and by the looks of things she saw a school friend going to see the same thing as her so I was assured she was fine.

Me Joel and Cara took our seat on row F when the movie began.

"Wow that was amazing!'' I stated as we walked out of the cinema. ''All we have to do now is wait for Layla to come out in 5 minutes when her movie finishes.''

''Okay,'' Layla agreed.

We walked over to the leather seating area and sat down for a few minutes before my phone started ringing. I didn't even bother to check the caller ID.

''Hello?'' I asked into the phone una where as to who was on the other line.

''Ronnie? Hey it's Tommo,''

''Oh so what did you want?'' I questioned.

''Well I guessed you'd forget so i called to remind you that the results for the competition was out today,'' I gasped down the phone. When I woke up I totally forgot about the competition.

''OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT!'' I shouted into the phone, earning me a few glares from cinema goers around me including Joel and Cara.

''Yeah, I thought so, Look I've got to go now so just remember to check the You Tube channel for the video and your email when you get home,'' Tommo hung up first before I even had to chance to say bye.

At that moment I put the phone down Layla emerged from screen 2 with a friend whom I'd never met before, But obviously before I even got the chance to meet the friend as she left in the other direction as Layla strutted over to us.

''How was the film?'' I asked Lay,

''Well I can bet it was better than yours!'' she said enthusiastically.

''Well we best head home because i have to get on the computer because, you know that competition I entered a few days ago?'' They all nodded ''Well the emailed all the results out today so WE NEED TO GET HOME!!'' I ushered them out of the cinema and into my mini and we set off in the way of home.

''Ronnie turn the radio on please?'' Cara called from the back seat. Joel, sat in the passenger seat turned on capitol and cranked up the music Miley Cyrus's we can't stop was on and me and Joel were singing loudly up in the front seat right up until we pulled into the drive way.

I tuned the engine off and rushed into the house with Layla, Joel and Cara closely following behind me. I dashed up the stairs and slammed my bedroom door behind me, I jumped on my bed and scrambled to turn on my laptop.

I was being totally impatient and as soon as I was logged in I went straight over to google and searched The You Generation into You Tube, whilst waiting for that to load I opened a new tab and went into my gmail.

Again while waiting for that to load i skipped tabs back over to You Tube and went to the newest video I clicked on it as it went into the video.

"Hello and welcome to the first winners category of The You Generation. As you know the past few weeks we have been searching for next upcoming presenter and the time has finally come to announce the runners up and more importantly the winner so without further ado in third place with and outstanding video we have Kelsey Atkinson from Ontario Canada with an outstanding contender in the competition."

The current presenter paused as the video went from him to what seemed to be Kelsey's entry for the competition. I watched as the video went from good to better. I was right when I said I Had no chance in this competition.

The Kelsey girls video finished and the presenter came back on and introduced the second place entry. When this video finished I thought all hope was lost because some of these were amazing and I definitely wasn't up to that standard.

The presenter then announced that Simon Cowell would be on skype joining the video to announce the winner. when the camera flipped onto a computer screen showing the Skype call ring tone Simon Cowell's face bobbed up.

"Hello!" He announced "As you know this is the first of many winners videos, and today I have the pleasure of letting you know who they are, so without further ado...

The person I personally picked today to present my channel has a natural flow and the ability to maintain a excellent performance she, yes it's a girl, has the charisma and, may I say, looks that all star quality presenters need so today I present to you the new face of The You Generation..." he paused for effect.

"Ronnie Louise Lee!!"

that's me?? THAT'S ME!!
