Chappie 6

I had packed everything I possibly could for the next few days. I had filled a whole suitcase of clothes, cosmetics and gadgets to pass the time on the journey to Syco tomorrow all that was left to do was to call Tommo, him being the obvious choice as my best friend to come with me, before going out with Jen and Liss

*ring ring*

"Hey" Tommo answered on the third ring. He's not one for answering his phone, but then again neither am I.

"Hey to you too,"

"How are you?"he asked

"Oh the usual, you?"

"Sames, look I know there's a reason your calling 'cause there's always a reason you call and I heard that there's something that you might want to tell me?" I knew he was talking about the competition because he's the one that reminded me to watch it in the first place so he must have seen it before me but he doesn't know that he's coming with me.

"Okay, yes I know that you know I won so cut the oblivious attitude cause I have something to ask you."

"Yeah Congrats, and what do want to ask me?"

"I know this is a long shot because of your summer job at that bar down the road but I am allowed to bring a friend with me for the next few days and-"

"And you wanted to bring me? Woohoo!!!" He cut me off and screamed down the phone.

"Yeah I'll take that as a yes then?..."

"Of course, your gonna need your bestie with you aren't you. What time do I need to be ready tomorrow then?"

7pm

I got ready for the meal with Jen and Liss I have so much too catch up on with them, with me leaving work before Jen got to finish our conversation and not seeing Liss since the start of high school. It seems a long time since we've all hung out. The three amigos united and all that. I don't know how fancy this meal is I don't even know where we're going but I've put on black jeans an Aztec top and my leather jacket with black ankle boots.

Jen knocked on the door at twenty past seven; late as usual. But I can't complain because she was kind enough to invite me tonight. I glanced down at her outfit and i'm glad that I decided not to wear my black dress cause Jen was only in jeans too. I offered to drive because even though Jen is an amazing friend she is a terrible driver. I find myself hanging on for dear life every time I'm in the car with her.

"So what we're you gonna tell me earlier at work before Maria interrupted us?" Jen asked as she climbed into the passenger side of my mini.

"Well, you know how there's that YouTube thing I told you I entered a few days ago at work? Well I don't know hot but I WON?!" I exclaimed trying but failing to hold in my excitement.

"Wha-??" She said confusingly.

"yeah I know unexpected right? Well Simon Cowell rang me at work today and he was like 'can you come tomorrow' and of course I had to say yes and omg I'm soo exited Jen!"

"I'm so happy for you I can't believe that you won that's so awesome... do you even know what you've won?"

"No I have no idea but I've heard its good, it's simon Cowell for goodness sake of course it's going to be good,"

I pulled up outside the Italian restaurant that apparently Liss picked. We got out the car and walked to the door and went up to the main desk.

"Booking under Sefton," Jenna said to the host.

"Table for three?" The host replied and we both nodded simultaneously "Ahh right then just this way, your other half of the party isn't here yet."

He led us over to a secluded booth at the far side of the room away from most noise and we sat down and chatted for a while waiting for the arrival of Liss.Within the next ten minutes we saw a curly dark headed girl bobbing towards us.

"Hey!" She said as she approached us. she definitely isn't the same Liss anymore she has dyed her hair dark and got a few tattoos just like she always said she was going to do ever since she got into her music taste of pierce the veil and fallout boy 6 years ago.

"Hi" me and Jenna replied as she took a seat next to me and opposite Jen.

"How have you been doing?" I asked her.

Great actually I'm moving back to Cheshire next month now that I'm finally free of all things parent. How about you?"

"We'll my family is still on my case all the time especially my mother and matty however I have good news that I was telling Jen earlier and I hope it means the start of something good for me."

"Oh what is it? I hope it's good,"

"Oh well you know, I've only gone and won a competition that simon Cowell judged to become a presenter, the usual" I said as casually as possible.

"Wow that's amazing, what does it involve?" She questioned I hate to make the evening about me but I'm just too excited to pass up the offer of talking about it.

"I'm not quite sure what it entails yet but I'm going for a meeting with the man himself tomorrow and he only rang me up personally to invite me!"

"Wow I'm so proud of my little Ronnie, how are you doing Jen have you got anything as good as that coming up?"

Jen continued to talk to Liss and between the general chit chat and squeals of excitement we had ordered our food, eaten and it was time to go our separate ways. We split the bill with a promise to meet up soon and I drove Jen back to her house before getting home myself. Sometimes you forget how much you missed a person until you see them again after the length of time. can't wait for her to move back rand for us to start a good friendship again. It's been so long that I forgot why we even lost touch in the first place.

I climbed up the stairs to my room stopping to say night to Layla and Cara in their rooms but they were both asleep and I finally stopped at Joel's room. I didn't even think to knock before walking in but unexpectedly he was sat in dad's old chair that he was adamant on keeping when dad left, strumming on a guitar that I'd never seen him with before and doing what seemed to be writing and song as he quietly hummed a tune and scribbled things down on a note pad. I decided I wouldn't interrupt and embarrass him so I left the room quietly without notice and went to get ready for bed.

*********Hi guys I know it has been a while and I promise that next chapter we will see the entrance of one direction *woo applause* and today he ice cream man came for the first time all year and I got the biggest ice cream I have ever seen and that has just put me in a good mood for the rest of the day ::)) I hope you all have a good week what are you doing this weekend?
