WORST LAST DAY OF SCHOOL BEFORE SUMMER EVER!!!!!

Ugh, don't you just hate them days that go all wrong along the way?

Yeah? Well today was one of them days. Everything that could have possibly gone wrong did. What happened? Well:

forgot my homework, got a detention,

got stopped in the corridor for eating and got a comment- not that it mattered because this was the last day before summer it just means when I get back to school in autumn I'll have several detentions to attend because of my 'stupid attitude last year'.

I left my PE kit at home so i spent 4th period cleaning out the sweaty unwashed clothes in lost property.

I tripped over someones discarded bag in the lunch hall and face planted the floor. Major embarrassment!

Mum rang and explained that she wouldn't be home until late, and considering that Matty isn't in, I'm left to look after the others and cook tea. Great.

Luckily Tommo was nearby when I fell, so after his fit of giggles he helped me up and we headed off to the field to eat lunch on this fine day.

~

"What do you want for tea?!" I shouted downstairs to Layla, Joel and Cara.

"What is there?" Joel yelled back.

"Well...we could walk up the road to McDonald's if you'd like?" I asked.

After a chorus of yes' I gathered the money that mum had left on the side for tea and we all headed out the door.

It was about a three minute walk from our house to the McDonald's. We don't eat it all the time though but I know a few people that do.

When we got there we sat in a scruffy looking booth and I got up to order. As we sometimes wandered up to the maccy'd's for tea when mum was working late I knew what everyone would want.

Happy meals of chicken nuggets and coke cola. I, on the other hand, didn't have much of an appetite so just ordered a large fries and a vanilla milkshake for myself.

I walked back to out table with a tray full of food. Everyone tucked in and a silence loomed in the air around our table before I tried making a few failed attempts at conversation.

"So how was school today?" I asked.

They obviously didn't have a good day because they all all pondered for a few moments and then all answered at around the same time with around the same answers.

I got two 'not much's' and a 'do you really want to know' from Joel. Two words, girl problems. He always seemed to be liking a new girl. I wish there were enough good looking boys at our school for me to do that but I'm just plain ol' Ronnie so it's not like any of the decent looking ones would go out with me anyway.

At least they can't of had a day as bad as mine.

And at least it was the end of the school year!!!

"Which girl turned you down today?" I questioned him, but he gave me the only answer I needed when he looked down into his lap and blushed.

"So...how's the food?" I threw them another question and they blissfully looked back at me blankly again.

I was secretly screaming in my head, COME ON GUYS! IS THE ANSWER REALLY THAT DIFFICULT!!! but as it turns out it was.

I got a 'it's okay i guess' an 'alright i think' and even worse just a grunt.

Oh how I love my siblings.
