Hayate fidgeted at he stood at the station with his bag. Would everything go right? It was his first time, doing something like this...

His phone rang, and he picked it. "He-hello?"

"Hayate? Is that you in the yellow shirt?" An unfamiliar voice spoke.

"Uhh-- yes, yes, it's me~" Hayate could feel his hand shaking and he hung up. A guy of about 26 came up and smiled at him. Even though Hayate was rather intimidated, he smiled back.

"Taiki Kudo," the guy said. "Then shall we go?"

"Y-yeah~"

Taiki smiled sub-consciously as he thought of the Hayate back then. He now looked at Hayate joking with Sota. How he has changed...

Hayate saw Taiki looking at him, and grinned at him. Taiki smiled back.

"Hey, hey, were you even listening?" Sota demanded, hurt.

"Who would listen to you, baka?" Hayate said, laughing.

Sota pushed him playfully. "URUSAI!!"

"Ah guys~" their manager interrupted them. "Our new designer has arrived. She'll come meet you guys soon."

"EHHH A NEW DESIGNER??" Sota exclaimed. "Why didn't no one tell me?!"

"Because you're a baka...?" Toru said, stating the obvious.

"Yamete!! I'm not a baka~" Sota said, hurt again

"Oi, stop fighting you guys~ She'll be here soon," Yudai said, acting as a peacemaker.

"My name is Gayathri, I come from India. But you can call me Rii! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu~"

"She speaks Japanese?" Hayate murmured. Rii must have heard him, because she tilted her head to him.

"Ah hai, I can speak Japanese a little~" she said in English.

"I see~" Hayate smiled. Rii-chan caught her breath for a moment, then smiled back.
