hope you liked this, it was something different for me, it's really out of my comfort zone for me to write in this style, but I'm trying to branch out and explore different methods.
I'm aware this is short and not very descriptive, but that's how I intended it, I wanted you, the reader, to add in the background and extra details yourself to allow you to build the world they're in by yourself because it makes it much more personal, in my view.
But the backbone of the story is (if anyone is confused) that Luke has an infatuation with the girl (whoever you picture it to be) who lives opposite him, and they become an unofficial couple after becoming close when she returns from a spontaneous trip right after sleeping with him in a car when she's unstable, but she ends up becoming extremely controlling and Luke ends up resenting it, and finally has the guts to leave her after months of isolation and feeling controlled and then she leaves him physically by going away again, for good.
I got the inspiration for this when I was walking to go grab some bagels and the line for the chapter castle popped into my head and I came back and wrote it in about an hour haha, shock horror for someone who struggles to end a story.
I hope you enjoyed it, and managed to catch on to all the Halsey references (there's a lot by the way).
