It's been about three months now since Dean Winchester joined the assassin group.  He quickly transitioned into their small group, immediately sliding in to their friend circle.  Taeo liked to hang out with Dean, which made Nala's life much easier.  Siel and Asuka accepted Dean quickly and had sent him on a few missions with a partner to test him.

Castiel grew the closest to Dean, and he always offered to partner up with Dean on their assignments. Dean shared a room with Castiel since Castiel's room had an extra bed.

Right now, the two men were sleeping peacefully. Their peace was ruined, however, when a certain brunet busted into the room and yelled, "Wake up, bitches!" He then fled the room, cackling loudly as Dean threw a pillow in his direction.

Castiel groaned and rubbed his eyes before sitting up slowly.  He yawned and glanced over to his side, and he watched as Dean stretched his arms over his head.

"No matter how long I'm here," Dean sighed, "I don't think I'll ever get used to Taeo's wake up calls..."

Castiel couldn't help the small blush from appearing on his face as he heard Dean's morning voice.  It was slightly deeper than his normal voice, and very husky.  Well...he also might've been blushing from Dean's shirtless torso...

Castiel blinked out of his fantasy and slid out of his bed. He quickly grabbed some clothes and went to change in the bathroom that was connected to their room. When he came out, he was wearing a dark gray t-shirt with a v-neck and some jeans. He glanced over at Dean and saw that he was wearing a black AC/DC shirt with some jeans as well.

The two men walked out of the room together and made their way to the kitchen.  All was normal; Nala was chasing Taeo, Siel was reading the newspaper, and Asuka was calmly eating his breakfast.

Castiel grabbed a plate for himself and for Dean, and quickly filled both plates up with scrambled eggs.  He handed one plate along with some utensils to Dean, who smiled and thanked him.

They both sat down side by side at the table in front of Siel and Asuka.  Siel looked up from the paper and gave the two a smile, "Good morning, you two.  I heard Taeo was the one to wake you guys up again."

"Yes, he was," Dean replied before he took a bite of his eggs.

Asuka chuckled.  "Sorry about him."

Castiel just shrugged it off as he said, "It's all right.  Besides, I've been living with him for about five or six years now."

"Well," Siel began, "it doesn't look like we have any assignments for you two today.  You guys are free to do as you please."

Castiel and Dean made sounds of approval as they continued to eat.  The rest of their breakfast time was pretty quiet, the only sounds being Nala and Taeo running around the house and yelling at each other.

Castiel couldn't help but notice Dean's discomfort as he ate.  He kept squirming in his seat and subtly rubbing his back against his chair.  His brows would furrow slightly in discomfort before he forced himself to relax and continue eating.

"Dean," Castiel spoke up.  Said man hummed and glanced at Castiel.  "Are you feeling...all right?"

"Hm?  Oh, yeah," Dean replied before taking another bite of his breakfast.  However, he soon shifted in his seat again and let out a soft sigh.

"Is it your wings?" Castiel asked gently.

Dean stopped mid-bite before turning to face Castiel, "How did you...?"

"Oh, once every ten years an angel goes through this stage.  Their wings shed their old feathers and quickly grow new ones."  Castiel cleared his throat before he added, "I can, uh, help you groom your wings, if you want..."

Castiel noticed the small blush that adorned Dean's face, though he could tell that the Winchester was trying to keep it at bay. Dean blinked and coughed awkwardly before accepting, "Um, sure. I mean, you've been through this before so..."

Once the two finished their breakfast, they placed their dishes and utensils in the sink before making their way into their room. Castiel shut and locked the door so that their privacy wouldn't be invaded by Taeo—because he knew everyone else would knock before entering.

He turned around and saw Dean sitting awkwardly on his bed. Castiel walked over to his own bed and pushed it so that it made one huge bed when it was next to Dean's.

Dean look confused and slightly taken aback. "Uh, Castiel...?"

Castiel turned to Dean and explained, "Trust me, you're going to want plenty of space to lie down during this..." Dean swallowed but nodded. Castiel continued, "Okay, uh... Take off your shirt and then make your wings visible."

Dean blinked and hesitantly did so. He slipped his shirt off and made his wings visible. Castiel blushed when his eyes landed on Dean's chest, but he quickly brushed it off and focused on Dean's wings. He shuffled and crawled onto the bed before sitting behind the Winchester.

Castiel gazed at the disarray of feathers before beginning to groom and pick some of them, starting at the end of the left wing. Dean sighed and his body sagged because the grooming felt wonderful. Castiel couldn't help the smirk that adorned his face as he noticed Dean's enjoyment.

He continued his way down Dean's wing, and the farther he went, the more it sounded like Dean was purring in enjoyment. He finally reached the feathers that were close to Dean's back, and that's when Dean lost control. He growled in excitement and swiftly turned around and pinned Castiel to the bed.

"Dean...?" Castiel inquired. He knew that grooming could be pleasurable, but he never expected this reaction.

"Cas..." Dean growled as his face inched closer to Castiel's.

Castiel blushed; no one has ever called him that...but he had to admit, he liked the nickname.

Castiel inched up and finally closed the space between them.  Their lips connected and moved in sync, and Castiel couldn't have imagined anything better.  He stroked Dean's wing again, causing the Winchester to moan against his lips.

Dean almost couldn't control himself, but he finally pushed away from Castiel and moved away from him.  He was panting lightly as he asked, "Cas, what the hell?!"

Castiel sat up as well and looked down shamefully.  "I-I'm sorry, Dean...  I thought you felt the same..."

Dean was speechless for a moment before he stuttered a reply, "W-well, I...  I don't know..."

Castiel swallowed the lump in his throat as he kept his tears at bay.  He stood and threw a jacket on as he said, "I'm gonna go into town for some groceries.  Do you need anything?"

Dean was silent as he shook his head.  Castiel let a disappointed look cross his face as he turned around.  He opened the door and walked through it.

"Wait, Cas–!"

But it was too late.  Castiel had already slammed the door shut behind him.  Dean sighed and ran a hand down his face as he heard another door shut, and finally Castiel's car took off.

Castiel sighed and turned on his music, blasting it throughout the car as he tried not to think of the events just before this.

What had he done?
