"it's such a tragedy, no?"
"what do you mean?"
"well, we, as humans, are lost things. empty souls that can't be filled until we find someone who can. sometimes we just grab the nearest one and call them ours, but, in the end, that emptiness is still there because they never were ours to begin with."
"but what if they were right? what if that person was their other half and failed to realize it?"
"then, i guess, it shows how much more of a tragedy we really are."
