If you're wondering what happened with me and Danny. I'll tell you. Well he kept trying to explain what happened that night. But I never let him explain; he wasn't worth the time it would waste for him to explain and lie to me. So I just stopped talking to him completely.

Anyways back to the story.

Just as I was about to text JJ back. I hear a familiar sound of a muscle car. I haven't heard that sound in a long time. It's JJ. I thought. Someone yells my name and I turn to see a fit somewhat taller than me boy. He had short messy blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes, and a perfect smile. He had braces and just to top it all off, he has a few splash of freckles on his cheeks.

"Wow, JJ, I haven't seen you since what? 6th grade?" I said. "Oh my gosh! Yeah wow. Dilly, you have changed so much. I can't believe it wow." JJ said.

JJ's PoV

Dilly wasn't answering. I texted him 5 times, and he still hasn't replied. I'm going to see what's wrong with him. I'm glad that Nate told me where they would be today. I thought. So I get in my car and head to the beach. When I get there I see Dilly immediately. He must have heard my car. I thought. I smile at the thought of him sitting in my car with me one day; with a ring on both of our fingers. Yes I hope that one day me and him get married. I have since the 6th grade.

Oh my gosh he has changed so much oh wow. Damn he is so cute. Oh my gosh, his light brown hair is spiked up perfectly. Wait it's not even spiked up that's just how it is. He probably didn't even fix it today. OH GOD! Look at his eyes!! Have they always been that blue? God they make me want to melt. But I can't I gotta act cool. I was pulled out of my train of thought by Dilly.

"Wow, JJ, I haven't seen you since what? 6th grade?" He said. "Oh my gosh! Yeah wow. Dilly, you have changed so much. I can't believe it wow." I said. Dilly gave me a look; that look he gives someone when he has a plan. He notices me staring at him. "JJ, can you take me somewhere please?" Dilly asked. "Yes, gladly." I said. Okay, stay calm JJ. Stay calm. Oh shit has he been shirtless this whole time. Please don't put your shirt back on. Noo. Dammit he put his tank top back on. It's tight fitting, thank god. I can see the outline of his perfect body still. I thought to myself.

I was pulled out of my train of thought by DIlly again. "Huh, what did you say?" I asked. "I said. Can you take me home, please?" He replies. "Why are you heading to the house?" Nate asked. "It's a surprise." He says. "Okay, are you coming back?" Nate asked. Dilly throws his keys to Nate. "If I text you, that I'm not. Just text me saying y'all are heading home, okay?" Dilly said grabbing his phone.

"You ready?" He asked me. "Yeah, are you?" I replied. "I believe so. Let's go." He says. I walk him to my car. "Wow JJ! You finally finished fixing your car huh?" He said teasingly. "Yeah, I have, It runs smoothly now." I say as I unlock my car. "So how has life be treating you?" I asked. "I'm still going through counseling from when I was stabbed. But it's been good ever since then, actually." He says. Oh fuck! He was stabbed? I didn't know that. I thought.

"I didn't know you were stabbed?? DIlly, why would anyone do that to you?" I asked. That was probably too blunt. Shit. I thought. "Yeah, I was. But I'm fine now." He says. "Okay, let's head to your house now?" I said. We head to his house and it was a quiet ride there. We pull into his drive. "Why were you so quiet, JJ?" He asked. "I'm just nervous, to say the least." I replied. "Nervous? How come?" He questioned. "Well, I just didn't know what to talk about. I've just been having a lot on my mind lately." I said.

Dilly's PoV

"What's been going on lately? Is it your mom?" I asked. "That and a few other things." He says. "What do you mean. A few other things? What's going on? JJ please." I said getting out of his car. Why, Dilly?" He asked. "Come on, we have like 6 hours, before they get home. So come inside and talk to me. I'll make your favorite food." I said unlocking my front door. That caught his attention. "Y-you will?" He stutters. "Yes, I will; unless you stopped liking them?" I say laughing. "NO! I DO! It's just I thought that you stopped eating them after I left." He says looking down. "I never stopped making them. I still do, JJ." I replied.
