JJ's PoV
"Y....you want me to be your boyfriend. JJ?" He shockingly asked.
"Yes. I do, Dilly, I've been wanting this since I first met you in the 8th grade. What do you say, DIlly? Will you?" I asked. I could see that he is crying tears of joy. He grabs my hands making sure I don't drop the box with his promise ring as he picks me up off the ground. Even when he's crying he's still gorgeous. He wipes his tears and he smiles at me. Oh my lanta!! Here comes the answer that can make or break my summer. I hope this makes it. I like him so much.
He pulls me out of my train of thoughts. We're hugging. All I heard was "Yes, I would!!" My arms tighten around him and I thought to myself, oh my lanta! He said yes. "Y...you said y...yes?" I stuttered. FUCK WHY AM I STUTTERING SO BAD? I asked myself. "Well duh, why wouldn't I have said yes?" He asked me. "I don't know, I just thought you gave up on me." I replied. "No, no, don't think like that. I could never forget you. We were really close friends before you left. Even after you left you were still on my mind. There was never a time of day or night where I did not think of you. Jj." Dilly says.
Nae's POV
"So, you're telling me that Jj is back in town and has been for about 4 months now. That he's just now getting into contact with Dilly?" I asked, serving the ball. "I mean what would you do in this situation? Would you know where you stand with someone if you just up and left without saying anything to anyone?' Nate replies "I just think that he was nervous about the whole situation after all i haven't seen him at school; so he must be at a different school." Kris chimes in. We pass the ball back and forth over the net while I ponder on my thoughts. Something is up. I know there has to be something behind him coming back. I have no idea what it could be but I will get to the bottom of it. I thought. We stop to get some water after a while. I looked at the time and it was almost 3. "Oh my Lanta! I have to get going. They made a meeting for ROTC and everyone needs to be there by 3:30.. Also, don't forget I leave to study abroad tonight so I won't be here the rest of summer." I say, packing up my things. "Be safe and have a great time!" They say.
