A Short Take is a shorter version of a chapter. For this story, it's a short "case". A short take would only come on when I'm not feeling like getting detailed and takes only 1 part. You should expect short takes across all my stories. Enjoy!
"A relationship can last as long as you are happy"On this short take:
Troy and his family go to see a concert for a band called "Danger Radar", a rock band. During the concert, one of the members is accidentally shot and the concert becomes a crime scene. As the investigation is underway, one of the lead singers, named Jamie Brown, confesses to Troy that he is gay. Troy is shocked by what Jamie told him, as Jamie says that he and the drummer (the one murdered) were actually in a relationship. He was going to play a song that would reveal they're gay but since the crime occurred, that can't happen. Lieutenant Cranston and some of the officers identify the victim as Jeremy King. When the band first started, nobody knew they were gay. Then, someone tries to shoot the second lead singer, only leaving the guitarist and first lead singer. The attempt fails and the officers engage in a chase to stop the gunman. Soon, Cranston reveals to the Jansens that the gunman was connected to the previous murder cases, with the same style of murder (a bullet puncturing the stomach). Troy believed that the gunman (who was captured and arrested) might be part of a group trying to eliminate all the wealthy people as for revenge, which is an example of Danger Radar making lots of money due to their contract salary with Capitol Records. Cranston and the Jansen kids make a promise to try to use the cases to figure out who is this mysterious group and what they want from the wealthy people.
