When it comes to pictures, you should use high quality pictures. I would usually just search up on Google 'Crystal Reed Photoshoot'. Also, cropping your pictures is very important. Wattpad uses 256x400 pixels.
Fonts
When it comes to font, you should choose one that fits with your cover. I usually stick with more simple fonts, like CODE BOLD.
Textures
The textures should fit your story. If it's a dark story than grunge textures are the way to go! Just don't go overboard, that you can't see the person's face.
Overall, everything should just fit together. The font shouldn't be too big or too small. The picture should be good quality. That is what I have in mind when I make a cover. Also, I do realize Android users (me) get less quality covers? It seems iPhone users get better quality covers. I usually make my covers on my computer now.
