7- Sleepless Nights

Your POV

"Come on you should watch this" my brother (brother's name, if you don't have one put a random name) suggested.

I turned my attention to him and looked at the DVD in his hand. It was that scary that I haven't watched and I was very hesitant if I should watch it or not.

Cause sometimes I don't trust the movies. (let's just say that)

"No I don't want to have any nightmares tonight" I point out. I was about to leave the room until I heard him snickered.

"Oh so the 'mighty (Y/N)' is scared now huh?" he teased. A vein popped in my head and I went back.

"Fine I'll watch the movie!" I said with confidence. He smirked and insert the DVD inside the player.

"We'll see" he smirked and the player starts showing the movie.

Both of us looked at the screen and start watching it.

Pft... As if I'm gonna be scared...

"Okay I regret my decision now..."

Right now, I'm lying on my bed, eyes wide open and forcing myself to sleep in which I couldn't.

"I'm gonna kill (brother's name) for this..." I muttered "or I shouldn't have agreed on watching that movie..."

I heard the window close shut and I jumped. Being scared.

I glanced at the the clock to check the time and it shows that it's 12 AM wait 12 AM?!

Damn I've been up for two hours already...

I kept turning in my bed and somehow I still can't sleep.

*sigh*

Maybe I should call someone...

I grabbed my phone and start going through my contacts. I dialed (Friend's Name) since she's the first that came in to my mind.

The phone kept ringing and ringing but she hasn't pick up.

I bet she's asleep already...

I tried to call the rest of my friends, but still no one picked up.

I almost gave up until I noticed a contact that made me hesitate.

Darren...

I was basically staring at his number the whole time.

Should I call him?

No I shouldn't!

But he's my last chance...

Ah screw it! It'll be embarrassing!

But...

I was fighting my subconscious that I almost forgot about the time.

I checked the time in my phone and it's 1 AM. Dammit...
