I woke up extra early this time because today is the day. The day when I would know the gender of the baby. It sent excitement all over my body. Is this what being a mother feels like? Being excited because of a simple thing?

I got out from the bed, carefully slipping out of the covers and not wanting to wake up Baekhyun. He had decided to sleep in my room and I didn't know why. Maybe because he's just excited as I am?

I've made my way to the bathroom and did my best to not make any sound while I take a quick shower. I lathered the soap onto my skin and my shampoo. The feeling of the soap gave me some calming effect.

After showering, I dressed myself and glanced at my boss who's still sleeping. I wonder how he stayed asleep while I was moving around the room? I looked at myself in the mirror and saw the growing bump. It was very round and I caressed it gently. The feeling of the bump against my palm sent me to another level of being a person.

I looked at Baekhyun and smiled, he should sleep more.

I went to the kitchen and made my hot chamomile tea. I was about to drink it when the tea cup slipped from my hand. The cup smashed on the tiles. Suddenly, I felt something strange. I hoped it wasn't bad luck.

Mrs. Choi and Baekhyun entered the kitchen and found me picking up the pieces of glass on the floor. Baekhyun went to lift me up and took away the glass from my hands.

"You should've asked the maids to clean up."

His voice was hoarse from sleep but it was soft. He gently guided me to a chair and cleaned my hands. "Are you hungry?"

I nodded and kept mum. But then, I remembered the check-up today. "Hey, B-Baekhyun-ssi? I have my appointment with the doctor today. I was wondering if you want to go with me?"

He smiled and patted my head. "I would go with you." He touched the bump and kissed it lightly. "Let's eat?"

I bowed to an old lady as she was entering the lobby. The kind lady smiled at me, "How far along you are with the pregnancy?"

"I'm currently five months and a half, ma'am." I smiled back at her.

"You must stop working. The stress from work will be dangerous for you. Take care of yourself." The lady went ahead and left me.

Wow, people were very concerned. I wonder if they knew that this was Mr. Byun's child?

Jeongmin went to my table and asked me for coffee break. We settled on our usual spot and I ordered iced tea. I was just quiet and my friend decided to speak, "Your baby bump is getting bigger, Haneul."

"Yeah, my baby is eating a lot." I chuckled and sipped my iced tea.

Jeongmin touched the bump, "I wonder what's the gender of this little angel?" She caressed it gently and I smiled at her.

"I'm going to find out later."

"With Baekhyun-oppa? Please tell me it's not my brother who's going with you again."

I laughed at my friend. "What's wrong with Suho? He was okay when I went with him last time. He's actually nice to accompany me."
