Amy's P.O.V
We were still in that same position about half an hour later. Niall and I, my head resting on his slowly breathing chest and his arms wrapped around me as if he never wanted to let me go. The sad thing was that he was going to have to let me go all too soon. We would stop seeing each other and probably slowly drift away from each other. I just couldn’t believe it. I mean, obviously I was aware that it was going to happen but it all was happening way too soon. The days, weeks and months had flown by so quickly and me and Niall had been dating for around five months. It was like a kick in the stomach. No, worse. Why me? It was if someone was just snatching the love of my life away from me! I mean, I totally understood that it was his job and he was doing the thing he loved and everything but I just so wished that we could find a way to see each other daily!
He stroked my hair and muttered soothing things into my ear in his warm Irish voice as I sobbed uncontrollably into his T Shirt making it dampen. I think he was silently crying too. He let go of me and rubbed his eyes as he took both of his hands in mine.
"I'm so sorry to have to put you through all of this." His voice cracked.
I shook my head. "S'okay."
"No, its not." He sighed and pressed his forehead against mine as he looked intently into my still, unblinking eyes. "We will find a way to make this work. We just have to." He croaked.
I nodded slightly. My throat was dry and I had a massive lump that I couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard I swallowed. I would have got up to get some water but I didn’t want to leave Niall. I felt like the time we now spent together was much too precious. I clung to his hand and he kissed me lightly on the lips, keeping them against mine for about five minutes and shutting his eyes tight as if he were in concentration. After a while, I grabbed his hand tighter and pulled him as I slowly drifted up from the bed. "Let's go do something normal as a distraction." I told him and he got up and put one arm around my waist.
"Yeah. Let's do that." He sighed, wiping his eyes again and then gently wiping mine. As we walked down the stairs, he lifted my sweaty hair away from my neck and kissed me twice and then kissed me again in the lips. He obviously wanted to make the most of our time as well.
I don’t know why but I felt really tired and had loads of things on my mind. Kissing Niall felt like the last thing on my list at that moment but I still went with it. I realised how little time I had with Niall left and kissed him harder as we made our way to the sofa. Weeks. How many? Two? Maybe three? Maybe I could go to their concerts, go backstage or something. No, that wouldn’t work. There had to be some way! Anything! I would literally go with anything if it meant that I could be at Niall's side for the majority of the world tour. He meant the world to me and I don’t even know why he thought that I would even consider breaking up with him. That gave me yet another query.
"Hey," I said, stopping kissing him and putting my hands either side of his face. "Why did you think I would break up with you?"
He frowned. "I don’t know who wouldn’t break up with someone over this."
I stroked his cheek and patted his shoulder lightly. "I won’t."
"I know that now." He said simply and brushed his hand back and forth on my knee. "I love you and I always will. No matter what." He promised me.
"Me too."
"I would move mountains for you. Kill people. Pick you over the world. Go to the ends of the Earth and so much more. You know that, right?" He whispered, staring down at my legs.
"Yes and you know I would do exactly the same for you too." I whispered back, my eyes welling up again. He pulled me into one of his famous Horan Hugs. He buried his face into my neck and planting many kisses there. This was horrible. I couldn’t bare the thought of him leaving me.
