The next day came and Kei decided that she would go visit Teru in her apartment. For some reason, Teru's parents didn't let them live in onesingle apartment. Maybe they were still wary of Kei despite knowing her since she was a child. Maybe it was because of her history, being a delinquent around their neighborhood. But that was not her fault. She was just trying to protect her friends who had then decided to betray her.

She prepared herself as she quickly did her daily make-up which consisted of drawing eyeliner around her eyes and applying mascara to her eyelashes. Her outfit consisted of a white turtleneck coat with an outline of black along its edges, black pants with buckles on its thighs and brown knee-high boots.

After awhile, she gathered her bag with its content of sweet treats since Teru loved sweets. She felt bad that she didn't even call or text Teru asking about her condition. As she packed her things, she noticed her school ID and got it. She might as well go to school after she visited her friend.

---

After her visit to Teru's place, she received a text saying she should go to Kent's lab. Kei couldn't remember where it was in her school. Should she ask someone? Should she ask Kent himself? But she was sure that she would receive some criticism from him again so thatchoice was a big no. Or maybe she should rely on herself and look at the map? In the end, she chose the latter.

The room was just at the second floor of the building, near the chemistry room."You're late. I was about to call you." Kent said the moment she stepped inside at his laboratory.

"Sorry, your highness." Kei jokingly said to her boyfriend while wearing a grin. She should act normal around him. After all, Kent must not know about her and Orion's secret conversation earlier about her selective amnesia.

"You forgot the room didn't you? You could have called me." Kent sighed.

"You and your independence."

"Well, I can't help but love reading maps but can't memorize them. Anyway, what do you want to do? I happen to have free time this afternoon. Want to have a dinner date?" Kei suggestively wiggled her eyebrows as she smiled towards her boyfriend and it seemed that Kent was taken aback by her words. But with a stern look, he gave her his reply.

"I still need to finish my research for August 25. Maybe, to--" he was cut short when the door was opened again by none other than his friend, Ikki. Kei heard rumors of him when she was in her first year.

According to her identification card, she was currently in second year in her first semester. So she concluded that she must have met Kent this spring or last year's semester during the autumn. They talked randomly about the test Kent gave Ikki. He obviously got a perfect score. What could you expect, he was a business student while Kent is a Math major.

After that, Ikki went near Kei. He smiled at her and there was something telling her that she must not look straight into his eyes. So she did a trick of looking in between of his eyebrows.

"Say regards to Teru for me. I heard that both of you got into an accident. Good thing, there was nothing bad that happened to you both." He said as he gave her head a pat and took his leave.

Little did she know, Kent was scrunching his eyes as the green-eyed monster crept upon his shoulders.Kent went near her and pulled Kei close to him but not to the point of hugging her. He placed his hand on top of Kei's head and began his mantra.

"Why didn't you tell me about the accident? Are you gonna leave me clueless about what's going on with your life? And why would you let him pat your head as if you're a dog. It's not that I'm jealous or anything. If you want it, you could have asked me." Kent nagged as heviolently shook her head.
