6. Her Butler

✿Chise Erin's POV✿

Darn! I'm tired, I just got home and I'm glad I didn't encounter the old cow yet. Matutulog na sana ako ng kumatok sa pinto, si Tabitha lang pala, ang assistant maid. What is it this time?!

"What do you want?! Can't you see its already way past midnight?! Are you that stupid?!" Tatanga-tanga naman to! Pagod na nga ako sa kakainsulto don sa babaeng mukhang paa sa bar, dadagdag pa siya! Grrr!

"K-kasi po... Pi-p-pina-t---" Argh! Ayan naman siya sa pautal-utal niyang salita! Ang tanga-tanga!

"Spit it out already! My time is too precious to be wasted by a stupid maid!" Grrr! Inaantok na talaga ako, pag hindi pa niya bilisan matatamaan na talaga siya sakin!

"Young Lady, Nana Catherine wants to talk to you. She's waiting for you in the library." Ano na naman ba ang kailangan ng matandang hukluban na yun?!

"Can't you see I'm tired?! Tell her I'm going to sleep."

"But, its urgent, Young Lady. Its an order from Master Charles." Ugh! Mukhang nakarating na kay Dad ang ginawa ko. Wala na akong magagawa ngayon, I have to talk to Nana.

"Fine. Now get out of my room!" Nataranta naman siya bigla.

"Y-yes, Young Lady!"

"OUT!" Agad naman siyang tumakbo palabas. Ha!

Now what does my Father want this time?! Pinagsabihan niya na naman ang Nana na disiplinahin ako?! Why won't he and Mom just come home and do it themselves?! Padabog akong pumunta sa library.

I opened the huge oak doors, entered and slammed it hard. Gulat namang napatingin sakin si Nana, agad na lumambot ang mukha ko.

"Chise..." Malumanay na sabi ni Nana. Kahit ano pang pang-rerebelde at kasamaan ang gawin ko, hindi niya ako sinukuan at kahit kailan hindi niya ako hinusgahan.

"What is it that you want to talk about?" Hindi masama ang trato ko kay Nana, mahal ko siya eh. Siya na ang nagsilbing Mama at Papa ko simula pagkabata.

"The news already reached your father." Yet, he didn't care enough to come home. Palagi na lang... When would they have time for their own daughter?!

"So?" Nakakainis, naiiyak ako. I feel so lonely again. I feel like I don't matter to them. Maybe I don't really matter... Because if I did, they would be here.

"Why are you doing this, Chise? Why are you doing this to yourself? To your life? You hurt everyone around you! You weren't like this before... So, why?"

Doesn't anyone understand? Wala ba talagang may nakakaintindi sa nararamdaman ko?! I'm doing all of these because I feel so alone! I'm doing these because I want my parents to be here! I'm doing these because if I don't, I might just die of so much loneliness. Wala bang nakakaintindi non?

Talaga bang... mag-isa lang ako?

"You don't understand! Nobody understands! Nobody cares! You don't care! They don't care! I'm all alone!" Ngayon ko lang nasigawan si Nana sa buong buhay ko. It hurts, it still hurts... It will hurt forever, and I'll suffer just as long.

"Chise, tell me... I will understand, I care. I'm here... and I will never leave you." No! She's lying! She's just like everybody else!

"No! No, you won't! You'll leave me like everybody else does! Stop it! I don't want to hear anymore of your lies! Please!" My Nana looks defeated. Galit ako, nasasaktan ako! Parang mababasag na ako, pero biglang bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa ang bartender guy. Si Shiro... Anong ginagawa niya dito?!
