day out pt. 2

Justin's POV:

Me and Selena just go done eating our lunch, and the food wasn't the best but it was still good.

"Dang I'm stuffed." Selena says reclining back in her chair. Selena loves food like a lot. No matter what it is, she already loves it.

"Tell me about it." It's getting closer and closer to my surprise. "So, do you want dessert?" I ask.

She looks at me and thinks about it. "Oh what the heck, yeah. She looks at the book full of desserts. "I feel like eating, a strawberry cheesecake." She smiles and shuts the book.

I wave the waiter over our way. "Yes?" The waiter asks. "Um, she will have the strawberry cheesecake." I say as he writes down her order.

"Alright, it will be out in about fifteen minutes." Great, it'll buy me time. "Okay thanks." I say and he walks away.

We stayed on our phones until the dessert came to our table. "Hey, smile babe." I say holding up my camera.

Selena covers her face. "No Justin, I probably have food in my teeth." She says covering her mouth.

"Oh yeah, you're right." I say teasingly. Selena throws her napkin at me. "Looks like you won't be kissing me tonight, you'll probably have spinach I'm your mouth." She says laughing.

"So romantic." I say. My stomach drops when I see the cheesecake coming our way. "Yay!" Selena says getting her spoon ready.

Here we go, it's finally here. The moment I've been waiting for. I knew I kept it this long for a reason. Because it made me feel hopeful that we would have another chance. I'd look at it everyday in my drawers and think, "one day, you'll get it back." And now, she's about to. When I first gave it to her, I was young. I told her I loved her and we made a promise, kinda like vows, that we would love and cherish each other till death do us part. And that same night, was the night, well, when we had sex for the first time. It was kinda magical. And today, I'm looking in doing the same thing. It'll probably be overwhelming for her since we've only been dating for almost four months, but it's been the happiest four months of my live.

"Here you want some." She says with her mouth full of cheesecake. Her cheeks looked adorably cute and the way she chewed her food was almost like a little chipmunk eating a nut.

Yup, I compared Selena to a chipmunk. I hadn't even responded to her, I just admired her beauty.

She wipes her mouth and blushes a little. "What's the matter?" She says placing her spoon on the table almost frustrating.

I look down, I'd never thought I'd be this nervous that I can't even look at her. "Because you've been acting really strange all day." Now she's on to me.

"Was it that noticeable?" She has the most confused look on her face. "So there's really something going on?" She says frowning.

"It's nothing wrong Selena. I just, I got something for you." I get the ring out of my pocket and hold it out. Her mouth slightly opens and her eyes are glossy.

"Justin I-"

"Selena, you have made me the most happiest guy in the world these couple of months. You never fail to put a smile on my face. I want to give this back to you because it means that I'm yours as long as we live and I'm not going no where." I can feel myself tear up.

She looks at me and back at the ring. "You still have it." She says smiling to herself. "YOU don't understand how happy I am right now. Im about to cry." She says smiling at me and laughing.

"You're my person." I say back. She holds out her left hand and I slide the ring in. Still fits.

Such a relief. Gosh, this surprise thing is harder than you think.
