day after christmas

Selena's POV:

Justin and I walk into my house with my huge Christmas tree still lit with all of my holiday decoration.

"Wow it still smells like gingerbread cookies. Alright, now that we're here, are you ready to open gifts?" Justin says wrapping his arms around my head and walking towards my living room where my smaller Christmas tree is with all of the gifts.

I already know Justin is going to love his gift. Both of them actually.

I sit down on the couch as Justin picks my present. He has a look of confusion on his face. "That's weird, it's not here. Wait right there."

How does he forget to put it under the Christmas tree. He runs upstairs and I can hear him moving around a lot of stuff.

I can finally hear him walk back down stairs. Just as I turn around out of curiosity he runs back around the corner and yells.

"Ahhhh! Nope, don't look over here." I didn't even see a gift or anything in his hands. I turn back around and wait for him to get over here.

"Hurry Justin!" I really want to know what it is. All of a sudden something fluffy comes to the side of me and starts licking me.

I look over to the most precious, cute dog ever wagging its tail next to me on my couch. I squeal when I realize it's a corgi.

I hold it close to me and I yes, start crying. "Oh my god Justin, you got me a puppy."

As I'm hugging the puppy, I feel something hard, like a box, on it. All of a sudden Justin kneels in front of me and grabs the box from its collar.

No fucking way. My heart suddenly drops and my whole body goes numb. Justin laughs at my reaction.

He opens it and as you suspect, a ring is suppose to be in there, but no, car keys.

I finally let out a breath, or low key, a sigh of relief. "No, I wasn't proposing to you. I got you a car too. Come on."

I grab the puppy first before taking Justin's hand and following him to the front. "Wait how did you get it to the driveway so fast?" I know he didn't go outside while looking for the puppy.

"I got my ways." He says winking back at me and opening my front door. As I was mid way rolling my eyes, they stop and gravitate on the matte, maroon, Mercedes Benz E class car, standing in front of me.

It even had the iconic red bow on it. "Oh my god Justin. I don't even know what to say." I slowly walk towards it.

It's so... me. "I know you've been wanting one for a while, so I got it for you." He says says with his hands in his pockets as he watches me inspect the car.

Ugh, don't even get me started on the interior designing on this bad boy. "This is so sweet Justin. Thank you baby." I say giving him a hug and a kiss on the lips.

"It's Christmas, I had to go all out." I smile.

Justin spoils me too much. We obviously have  the money to spend it on whatever, but it's sometimes overwhelming.

But on days like these, I just be grateful that we can get each other these type of gifts. "Alright, your turn."

I say running to the door as my puppy runs behind me. I go to the Christmas tree and grab Justin's present.

Justin patiently walks in while locking the car. "Here." I say handing him a box as he sits down.

I'm so excited to see his reaction when he sees it. "Oooo." He says once he sees 'Cartier' on the box.

He lifts the box open and his eyes go wide when he sees the icy white diamond encrusted bracelet that they specially made for Justin.

"Do you like it?" His mouth is still open as he takes it out. "Babe, this is sick. I love it." He says giving me a kiss.

He slips it on and he starts laughing. "Oh my god this is so clean." He can't wipe that smile off of his face.

I'm so glad he likes it. It's not surprising, but I didn't know if it was too much for him. "One more."

Justin lays back in his couch thinking what else could I possible have gotten him. "Another one? Now you're just spoiling babe."

"Oh whatever, it's Christmas. Here, open it." I can him an envelope.

He stares at me as he rips it open. "Read it out loud." He unfolds it and inspects it. He starts laughing.

"We are going to Barbados for New Years." He pulls me back with me and flowers me with more kisses, along with my puppy.

"What are we gonna name her?" I say as I check for its gender. "Whatever you want to."

I think for a little bit. "I'm going going back and forth between Oakley or Venelope." I've always wanted a dog named Oakley for some reason.

Venelope is just a cute name to be honest. "Oakley is a cute name." Justin says petting her.

"But that kinda sounds boyish." I'm trying to like make it more feminine. "Selena, it's a dog it doesn't matter what it's name is."

He has a point. "Yeah, Oakley it is." I say in a baby voice while scratching the dogs ears.

"So you got anymore presents for me?" Justin says rubbing all over my leg. I roll my eyes. "Sorry, I'm on my period. But I'll be off it just in time for Barbados."

He smiles. "Alright."
