Fifteen minutes later
"Pizza's ready." I yell and I can hear feets storming down the stairs into the kitchen. Emily grabs a slice and takes a big bite and moans. "Mmmm this is so good." She says and I blush. How can someone moan so sexy about food. Emily catches my blush and winks at me. "So are you guys okay if I take a shower after eating and then we could get some ice cream and swim in the pool?" Emily asks. Maggie's eyes go wide but then she looks sad. I walk over to her. "What's wrong little lady." I ask and grab her hands. She signals me to come closer and whispers in my ear. "I don't think Noel will like that." She says and I look at Emily who looks concerned. "Sweetie, Noel isn't here anymore, he's gone." I says and Emily sighs knowing what we're talking about. "But what if he comes back?" She asks. "He won't, I'll be there." Emily says and leaves the table angry. Not angry at us but more at Noel, when I told her about Noel she got so mad that I was actually scared of her. So I didn't told her everything yet, then I know for sure she will search for him and kill him and I don't want to lose her again. "Did I make mommy mad?" Maggie asks me. "No sweetie you didn't, she's just a bit tired." I say to her an cup her cheeks and wipe the few tears away. "Does she still wants to do nice things with me?" She asks and I nod. "Of course, go and play with your dolls sweetie." I say and she runs up the stairs with her little feed almost tripping over herself. I smile and put the plates away, doing the dishes.

Emily's pov
I walk in the hall upstairs after taking a long shower and finally having some fresh clothes when I hear Maggie laugh. I walk into her room and see her looking in my photo album with her back facing me. "Where did you find that one?" I ask her. She drops the album and makes her way over to the corner of the room scared. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please don't be mad." She says pleading and putting her hand above her head and shutting her eyes afraid that I'll hit her when I move closer. I slowly sit down next to her and put her in my lap. "I'm not mad princess." I say trying to calm her down. "I'm not Noel." I say softly and she puts her little arms around me. Crying a little bit. "I've got more of those, how about we look through them together tonight?" I ask and she nods looking at me finally. I wipe her tears away. I can't believe it, she's so young and already so damaged. All because of Noel, how can he not realize how beautiful and sweet Ali and Maggie are? They're like two little angels.... "Come one, mom will probably be waiting for us to go out." I say and walk with her downstairs. I don't see Ali anywhere so I walk into the kitchen, no Ali. Living room? No Ali. Dining room? Game room? Gym? Cinema? No Ali. When I walk into the yard I see her sitting there in the hammock reading a book. I'm still carrying Maggie and we walk over to her. She smiles when she sees us approaching and puts her book down. "Ready to go?" She asks and me and Maggie both say yes at the same time.

Ali's pov
We're walking in the park holding hands eating our ice cream, Maggie is talking about her friend she met in the neighborhood to Emily. It's a boy named Dave and she can't stop talking about him, I think my girl has her first little boy crush. We see a play ground and stop so that Maggie can play a bit. Me and Em both sit on a bench looking at other people. " i can't believe we're out, and together." I say and she kisses me. "I can't wait for this new life, maybe we should go on a vacation?" Emily's suggest. "Maybe we should settle in first, you have a lot to catch up with, you know with your business, Maggie is getting used to her new schedule and I saw a nice boutique were I would like to work." I say and she looks weird at me. "Work? You're not going to work." She says. "Why not?" "Because i can buy you everything that you want, and who's going to look after Maggie while you're working?" She says. "Well sorry but I'm not going to be some sort of gold digger who doesn't do anything all day and only spends your money, and what happened with you watching her or a nanny?" I say angry. She kisses me and it takes me a few seconds to start kissing her back. "God it was so hot how you said that." She says and leans in again. "So this was the mysterious woman you can't stop talking about." A woman suddenly says. I look up and she's stunning. "Hanna." Em says and hugs the woman. Why is she hugging her that long and so tight? I admit I am fucking jealous right now. I clear my throat. "Oh yeah sorry this is Alison." Emily says I stand up and put my hand out for this Hanna to shake. "Her girlfriend." I say sassy. "I'm Hanna," she says and shakes my hand,"I'm Emily's sister-in-law." She says and Emily tries not to laugh. O God of course Ali, great first impression with her family. Then Maggie comes running to us. "Mommies I have to pie." She says jumping up and down. "Sweety, introduce yourself first." I say to her, she turns to Hanna and puts her hand out. "Hello i'm Magaritha and I have to pee." She says putting a fake smile on. "Just like her mom." I can hear Emily mutter. Hanna shakes her hand. "I'm hanna." She says. "Well in sorry but we have to go, I'll see you tomorrow." Emily says and I say a quick goodbye because Maggie is already dragging me to the Mac Donald's. Tomorrow Pam will make dinner, so that Emily can catch up with her family and me and Maggie can meet them.
