Amery hummed along to Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" as she took in the sight of fresh fruits and vegetables at the fresh produce section of the supermarket. Not caring that practically everyone there was giving her weird looks and some even giggling to themselves, she remained seated in the supermarket trolley as Sigrid pushed her around.

"I told you not to wear the dinosaur costume out," Sigrid sighed as she stopped the trolley to pick out some fresh avocados.

Amery stopped humming and turned to face the brunette. "But you were the one who told me to do whatever that makes me happy. Wearing your dinosaur costume to the supermarket makes me happy. You said that you'd always want to see me happy, cause that makes you happy. I'm indirectly making you happy here. So why aren't you happy?"

"Right. I'm sorry, I'm still getting used to your new ways," Sigrid snickered as she placed the bag of avocados on Amery's lap. She continued to push the trolley to the apples section near the cashier before coming to a stop again.

Sigrid caught sight of a very fresh looking bright green apple and quickly reached out for it. Her fingers didn't manage to grab the apple, but instead landed on another hand. Astonished, she turned her gaze up to the owner of the silky soft warm hand and made eye contact with a pair of green eyes the colour as brilliant as the apple she intended to pick moments ago.

"You can have this," Miss Soft Hands flashed a smile and held the apple out to Sigrid.

"Um, n-no you can have it," Sigrid replied with a slight stammer. The girl shrugged and thanked Sigrid before turning her back and walking the other way.

Amery cleared her throat, causing Sigrid to snap out of her daze. "Well someone seems to still be stuck with her old ways."

"What? No! I only have eyes for you," the brunette leans in to the blonde and gave the girl a quick peck on the lips.

"You better," Amery warned, her voice and features gradually softening when she noticed a slight change in Sigrid's expression. "Are you tired? Am I heavy? I'll get out of this trolley and walk with you okay?"

"You don't have to, baby," Sigrid replied as she reached out for her wallet in her coat pocket.

"But I want to," Amery hopped out of the trolley and straightened her costume before taking a step closer to Sigrid.

The lights in the supermarket went off. Several screams from women in the other aisles were heard, probably out of mere shock from the sudden darkness. Amery grabbed Sigrid's hand and locked her fingers hard in between the latter's.

"Oh gosh, this sure reminds me of something," Sigrid let out a frustrated sigh as she held on to Amery's hand tightly.
