Amery woke up to a worried face staring at her. "Sig? What's wrong, baby? Was it last night? Was I bad? I didn't hurt you, did I?"

"No," Sigrid chuckled, placing a hand on Amery's left cheek and gently stroked it. "You were amazing. For a beginner."

That earned Amery's smile and she leaned in closer to give her girlfriend a peck on the lips. "I love you, Sigrid Sharma. I'm madly in love with you."

"So am I, Amery Tatcher. With you," Sigrid whispered back, overwhelmed by the feeling of her stomach flipping nervously every time Amery said her name like that. She realised she was madly in love with the girl too. She didn't know how, when or why. She just knew it. She also didn't expect to decide to settle down this soon, but she's found the right one to do that with. As cliché as it sounded.

"Then why did I wake up to that look on your face just now?" Amery furrowed her brows.

Sigrid found herself pausing at the question, as she tried recalling why she felt troubled earlier. And then it dawned upon her and she grunted into her pillow. "Tomorrow is the fifth and final day of Diwali. It's kind of a sibling love renewal day, where brothers give their sisters presents and sisters cook for their brothers or something. I have to go do some grocery shopping before I can cook for Seth tomorrow."

"That sounds fun!" Amery nodded in excitement. "What time do we go?"

"We can actually go in the evening or something. I'll drive you home after that," Sigrid suggested, clearly wanting to stay in bed longer with Amery.

"Does that mean we get to stay in bed longer then? And like, watch Netflix or play video games? Do you have PS4 or something in here?" Amery scanned Sigrid's bedroom for any sign of a game console lying around. She was impressed at how spacious the room was. Also at how artsy the walls were, with abstract paintings hung here and there and some on the floor, leaning against the minimalistic white walls. Sigrid's huge bed, or rather, mattress, was on the floor on its own without any bedframe. The fluffy pillows, soft blankets and warm duvet were all in white.

To the right where Sigrid was lying, there was a floor-to-ceiling window covered by a slightly transparent white curtain. The window was similar to the one in Amery's penthouse, yet she wondered why Sigrid was acting so amazed the other time she came over. The view from here was pretty nice too.

"You're an idiot," Amery murmured.

"Hmm?" Sigrid sat up, reaching for a grey tanktop on the floor on her side and pulled it over her head.

"Nothing," Amery grinned. "I'm hungry though."

"I know. That's why I'm going to the kitchen now to see what I can make for you," Sigrid kissed the girl's forehead gently.

"And while you're making something for me, I can raid your wardrobe?" Amery bit her lower lip playfully, glancing at the walk-in closet to the left.

"Do whatever that makes you happy okay, my love? I'd always want to see you happy, cause it makes me happy too," Sigrid pinched Amery's cheeks, before getting up and leaving the room to make breakfast for her girlfriend.

Amery bounced on her feet and quickly put on the pajamas from last night, before she opened the door to Sigrid's walk-in closet and entered it. She browsed through the latter's outfit collection, from designer dresses to expensive handbags that she could've sworn she had never seen Sigrid wearing before.

Okay, she thought, what else could this girl be hiding from me?

Suddenly Amery's fingers stopped at an interesting piece of clothing. She yanked the hanger out and her eyes widened at the discovery.

Sigrid came into the closet just in time and noticed that Amery was holding out her green dinosaur costume. "Shit, you weren't supposed to find that."

"You. Fucking. Liar!" Amery gasped unbelievably. "You said you didn't have a costume for that party of Gwen's!"

Sigrid laughed nervously before she dashed out of the room in an attempt to save her own life.
