"49... 50! Here I come, ready or not!" Dorothy smiled, looking up. Sue was long gone. "I am going to find you Sue~!" Dorothy yelled out happily.
She smiled, and checked under her fathers bed. No Sue. She frowned, and got back up, looking around her fathers room carefully, looking for thick, pitch black hair and bright gleaming purple eyes. But, no signs of Sue. Dorothy let a small "Hmph..." Come out of her mouth, and walked to her mothers room, looking underneath her bed and desk, where she saw her mother's diary.
Dorothy grew a tiny bit impatient, and looked under the couch, but still no Sue. "Oh, where could he be hiding?" Dorothy said agitated.
After a while Dorothy had explored the whole 4th floor, but still with no luck. Dorothy walked back to the main room, (The one with the fifth floor door and fourth floor stairs)
Thinking on where he could of gone. After a while of thinking, Dorothy decided on going to the fifth floor because she heard footsteps going up the stairs, above her.
Pride rose through her veins as she made her way up the stairs to the fifth floor. She knew Sue was somewhere up there.
Dorothy shivered when she walked into the cold corridor. She noticed a crack in the wall next to her. It was just big enough for someone to slide in. She peeked trough. Surprisingly, Sue wasn't there. Dorothy thought he would, from what she knew about him. Shrugging it off, she continued on calmly, knowing that with every step she took, she was getting closer and closer to finding Sue.
Dorothy decided to check the room's such as the gear room, and flower room, knowing that they had better hiding spots then anywhere else on the floor.
Dorothy started by checking the flower room. She looked under the flowers carefully. No Sue in sight. Dorothy decided to check the gear room next. And if, for some reason, he still wasn't there, she'd check the dark room.
Dorothy entered the room, and surprisingly, there weren't any servants here. Sue had to be somewhere in here! "Where did he hide..?" Dorothy trailed off, going farther into the room and looking around. She checked the barrels full of fruit, then the vases. She then walked over to the bags of grain, to see if Sue was there.
Dorothy grew happy to see the boy with purple eyes and thick black hair crouched behind the grain bags.
"I found you!" Dorothy called happily. Sue stood up, and calmly walked over to her. "...Good job." Dorothy giggled. "Okay, I will give 'a rabbit doll' to you as promised. " He said, pulling out a blue rabbit doll with a cream colored stomach and red button eyes. Dorothy received it happily and held it close to her chest. "Thank you, Sue! I love it! I'll keep it with me wherever I go!" Dorothy smiled happily.
Sue smirked and replied with a simple: "You are welcome."
Sue started to walk away, but stopped, and without turning around, he said. "Oh yes, and before I forget, I would be careful around the maids if I were you. Until next time, Dorothy." Sue walked off, and Dorothy was left alone, feeling slightly uneasy about what Sue had said. "I would be more careful around the maids if I were you."
Dorothy hesitated, tightly clutching the rabbit doll's soft hand in her's, and then started to walk to her room, still slightly uneasy on what Sue had said, as thoughts about it raced through her head. (Hey guys, look! A rhyme!)
On the way to Dorothy's room, she bumped into a maid, who said it was time for dinner. Dorothy thanked the maid, and swiftly walked down to the first floor, where the dining room was. As she ate dinner, the rabbit doll sat in her lap.
~~~
Dorothy sat in her room, playing with the rabbit doll, and waiting for night to come, since there was nothing else to currently do. After a while, Dorothy decided it would be nice to take a quick walk around the mansion, seeing that it was just 5:00 P.M. And she would bring her favorite doll along with her as well. She also figured that, since the mansion was so big, Dorothy might find something, and she could write that in her journal! So she'd write about anything that happened on the 4th floor.
Dorothy got up, holding the rabbit close to her chest and as she walked out, she grabbed hold of her diary, quietly humming to herself as she skipped up the stairs to the second floor.
Dorothy ran through the hallway, and stopped in front of the closest door to the left. She opened it, with the plush rabbit swaying side to side dangling by her arm.
The room was a doll room, with human like dolls lining both sides, blankly staring at her. Dorothy grew slightly nervous, but continued on, walking to the end of the room, where there was a stained glass mirror. Dorothy looked down at the rabbit doll in her hands, and it's head fell back, with it's red button eyes staring up at her.
Dorothy grew scared, because no matter where she went, she could almost feel the doll's gaze on her, like she was being.... Watched.
So because of her paranoia, Dorothy put the rabbit doll into her dress pocket, with it's head sticking out, and quickly skittered out of the room. Dorothy didn't feel like checking the rest of the floor.
Dorothy walked boardly through the third floor. But when she started to descend up to the fourth floor, her head started to have a rather sharp headache. Shrugging it off, Dorothy kept going, thinking that it would pass eventually, which it actually did!
Dorothy smiled, and walked towards another bedroom, to write her progress on what she'd seen so far, but stopped, to say hello to a maid. The maid nodded, smiling, and said hello back, soon continuing her business.
Dorothy watched for a second, but was taken back when she felt a sharp pain shoot through her head. Dorothy squeezed her eyes shut, and staggered back in pain, dropping her journal.
The maid, startled, turned around quickly and ran over to Dorothy, who was laying on he floor, curled up in a tight ball and breathing heavily.
"H-help...!" Dorothy yelled quietly out to the black nothingness surrounding her as she started to slowly lose consciousness, right after hearing a heavier.... THUD.~~~~~~
THIS IS NOT OVER YET~
