Dorothy ran through the sewers as fast as she could, however her legs felt weak and ready to collapse under her within seconds due to her fear. Sue's calm, yet somewhat mocking voice rang throughout her head as she ran, her Mary Janes making loud Splashes and Claps among the wet concrete.
"Twenty one, twenty, nineteen..."
Dorothy panicked to herself, pausing and taking time to realize the situation she was in.
She was all alone in the sewers with no one to help her, with an inhuman being who was going to kill her if she didn't win this game and she hasn't even thought of a hiding place.
Tears entered her eyes as she thought about what might happen if she were to die. Would she ever see her family again? Would she go to heaven of hell? Would it be painful? What could she possibly miss on Earth if she were to die? These questions began to rush through her head as she began running again, everything else blurring into silence.
Right now, she just wanted to curl up, fall asleep, and wake up completely normal with this being nothing but a bad dream....
"Ten, nine, eight...."
Dorothy let out a choked gasp as she heard this. Sue was almost done counting! She began to bolt as fast as she could, her fear growing larger and larger with every passing second as she hurriedly grasped the doorknob, beginning to feel queasy.
"Six... Five..."
Entering her room Dorothy closed the door behind her, trying not to make too much noise as it might attract Sue. She scanned her room and blindly entered the first place that could even be considered a hiding spot, although quite the common one.
The wardrobe.
"Three... Two...."
Dorothy bit her lip. Tears welling up into her glossy eyes as she squeezed them shut, letting out shaky controlled breaths.
"One. Here I come, ready or not!"
Dorothy couldn't handle the fear building up. Her human instinct began kicking in as she began to feel drowsy, letting out a quiet, choked yawn and soon drifting away from her consciousness.....

~~Meanwhile ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~Sue stalked confidently down the sewers, hands clasped behind his back in an innocent like manner. Sad as it was to say, he could already sense Dorothy's energy close by, not proving to give him much of a challenge at all. He took in a breath as he thought about all they've done together, and how it was brought to this. The thought weighed heavily on his mind, like a piece of paper kept down by a large rock, a rock which grew heavier each time he thought about it. He tried to shrug it off, and it almost worked, however it still lingered in the dark corners of his mind as he reached the stairs.
