Prolouge

I dedicate this book to Shades365 and other people who had inspired and helped me making the story :') this is the first time i did a prolouge, so i hope you guys don't judge it too hard!

Sonic, a speedster who was known as a hero, as a hedgehog, and as a friend, was packing his bags for his trip.
"Sonic, are you done yet?" Amy Rose, his (self-proclaimed) 'girlfriend', called out for him
"Yeah yeah! I'm almost done!" Sonic called back as he closed the beige cream backpack that he bought recently
Sonic made a dash downstairs, he stopped his track, making a irritating 'skit' sound
Emerald orbs met with jade orbs
He took a small glance at Amy's backpack, which was ridiculously huge
"Amy, even you bring more stuffs than Tails...." Sonic let out a small sigh and smiled smugly at the pink hedgehog
"You always have to be ready for anything, Sonikku" Amy let out a girly giggle as she mentions the pet name that she gave to sonic, which he hated.
Amy quickly held Sonic's hand as she drag him outside, meeting his friends
"About time, Sonic" Knuckles crossed his arms impatiently as he gave Sonic a slight irritated glare, which he got back was Sonic glaring smugly back at him.
"Hurry up everyone, we ain't got time to lose!" Amy rushes, feeling excited because they were going for a long trip and it might give her an opportunity to win Sonic's heart!
"Okay jeez...." Knuckles rolls his eyes as he climbs on a car that was made by Tails.
The car wore a silver coat with 6 seats, Amy actually suggested to paint the car pink, which was declined by everyone who thought it was silly, especially Sonic and Knuckles.
Sonic went on the driver's seat with Tails next to him, because Tails was still too young to be able to drive (I know that the legal age to drive in Tokyo, Japan is 18 or in America is at least 17 years old, but since Sonic and his friends are heros, so i think it would be slightly logical that the humans and other anthropomorphics would think that they are responsible enough to drive ^^' i also imagine that Mobius are somewhere in Japan in the sonic universe ^^'')
Sonic starts the engine
"Okay guys, did you all finished packing your stuffs?" Sonic asked
"Yes!" The group answered
And they began to drive away, their destination is Mt. Fuji
"Sonikku, if we're going to Fuji-san, then where are we going to park the car?" Asked the pink hedgehog who sat behind Tails
"Tails designed the car to shrink itself into a small keychain shaped car so we wont have to park it, plus we could chain it to the key so we wont lose it" Sonic replied, focusing on the road more than his friends.
"oooh i'm so excited! There might as well be hidden gems or emeralds there!" Rouge squealed excitedly as her eyes were sparkling with stars
"You and your treasure addiction, Rouge" Knuckles rolls his eyes
"Just stay away from the Emerald Master"
"In your dreams, Echidna" Rouge teased, or more like challenged
"Tails, where do we go next?" Sonic asked
"Left" Tails answered as he looks into the map
Sonic made a quick sharp turn to the left
"Where are we going to go next after visiting Fuji-san?" Knuckles asked
"I was thinking we could go to Hokkaido, it's a nice and calm place there. And i'm sure the view is beautiful too!" Tails replied happily
The group, except for Sonic who's still paying attention to the road, stares at Tails in shock
"But wouldn't we have to go to the airport to be able to go there?" Rouge asked
"YOU SHOULD'VE TOLD US!" Knuckles yelled, slightly irritated that his friend didnt told him
"Don't worry guys, this car has a plane mode in it as well, if i press this button..." Tails. pointed to a button next to him, which was secured
"... The car will turn into a plane" Tails explained
"... Oh... Cool.." Knuckles replied, rather embarrassed because he just yelled at his friend for no reason
"Plus, you have me, Sonic the hedgehog, the awesome and handsome hero of Mobius and the world" Sonic said cockily
"yeah right..." Knuckles mumbled irritatedly as Rouge rolls her eyes playfully
While Amy was dreamily remembering the time she first met Sonic, when he saved her.
"Turn right Sonic" Tails said as he kept an eye on the map and the road
Sonic obeyed as he did what he was told
"Since when did you know how to drive, Big Blue~?" Rouge chuckled, using the nickname she gave Sonic, which earned a glare from Amy
"Just recently" Sonic shrugged casually

"Ughhhh, it's been like 2 hours! When are we gonna be there?!" Knuckles groaned
"Just be quiet and wait" Blaze hushed, finally spoken for the first time since the trip started
Knuckles glared at the purple princess, who was unfazed by his childish behavior, before letting out another groan of annoyance
"We're almost there" Tails answered quietly
The group was quiet during the trip, no one said a single word until now.
Then the now dark and cloudy sky started to cry, as raindrops hit the car's window and the windshield.
"Oh, it's raining" Sonic mumbled, to be honest he was really bored during the trip, like you have no idea how he wanted to jump out of the car and take a run, but somehow he had managed to restrain himself from ditching the group.
"The trip's RUINED!!!" Amy whined as she looks out at the window which is now covered in raindrops
"I knew we should've go in the morning!" Knuckles growled in frustration
"Now now, let's just go into a hotel and stay there for tonight, besides it seems that it's about to turn to nighttime anyways" Rouge suggested, which the group agreed to as they went to a nearby hotel to stay in
What they didn't knew was there were a figure standing on a tree branch, staring down at them with blood red eyes, especially at the blue speedster, a smirk plastered on it's muzzle as it licks it's fangs in hunger.
