"Hey Peter I'm going to go for a run." Wade said, jogging down the stairs in his work out gear. I looked up from my research.
"Wait a couple minutes and I'll join you" I said putting my laptop aside and getting off of the couch. I ran up stairs and quickly changed into shorts and a random shirt then meet Wade out side.
"Ready?" He asked as he locked the door behind me.
"Yup" I replied.
We jogged side by side on the route Wade usually jogged. We jogged for a good while until we both got tired and needed a rest. We stretched a bit before sitting down on the beach, watching the water lap against the shore.

"What are you thinking?" I asked finally breaking the silence.
"I guess, I'm just thinking about how much I love spending time with you, and I wish I would have more time with you. Even just to do sappy romantic things like this" he said solomly.
I placed my hand on his a gripped it gently. "We'll have all the time in the world. We'll make it happen."
"I love your optimism, but just not right now. Right now I just want enjoy your company and not think about anything else but you." He said leaning his head onto my shoulder.
"Maybe we could turn today into a date."
"I don't really feel like leaving the neighbourhood"
"We have a beach right out side the back door, why don't we go home, get changed then relax by the ocean."
"That sounds like a good plan" he said before kissing me softly then helping up from the sand.

After we walked back to the house and got change I checked on Winston while Wade made some sandwiches for us to eat on the beach. Once they were ready we walked back out to the beach hand in hand.
"It's a lovely evening tonight" I said as I spread the blanket on the sand.
"It's a lovely night to spend with the love of my life" Wade replied smiling while plopping himself on the blanket. "Sandwich?" He asked digging through the picnic basket.
"Sure" I said taking the sandwich he offered. "What all you got in there?" I asked peering into the seemingly bottomless basket.
"Just some extra snacks and drinks" Wade said pulling out a few examples.  "I know you to well to know that a sandwich doesn't fill you" he said playfully.
I chuckled lightly "true, very true."
He sat in silence for while as we are and enjoyed just being with each other.
"When the inavable happens, what are you going to do?" Wade said breaking the silence.
I looked up at the stars. "I don't know Wade, I just don't know" I caressed his hand softly then held it and gazed into the stars.
