Dick Grayson x reader

"Thank you." You said kindly to the lady at the front office desk "Now problem." She smiled back. Today was your first day at Gotham Academy. You had decided to come early so you could look around the school and to get your schedule and locker number. 

You walked out of the office and wondered which hallway to walk into first "Bizarre looking hallway number one or bizarre looking hallway number two" you said to yourself. Randomly chosing the left hall you began to look around your new school. 

Looking at all the looker numbers you finally spotted yours, number 37. Noticing that more people stared to arrive you grew a little nervous. 'What if I find no friends? What if I get mean teachers?' A bunch of thoughts were racing through your mind making you even more worried. 

Pushing the thoughts out of your head you began to insert your lock combination. You suddenly felt someone stand close to you "Hey babe you new here?" A tall good looking guys said but you knew immediately he was one of those boys that thought he was to cool for school 'oh great' you thought to your self 

"Um yeah" you said focusing on your locker again. he suddenly got even closer getting in the way of your locker so that you were forced to make eye contact "You want me to help you open this?" He said in a cocky tone "No I got it thanks." You said rolling your eyes a little. 

"Come on babe" he said putting a hand on your arm "No really I'm good and can you not call me Thant?" You said harshly "what's the matter? You should be happy I'm calling you that most girl usually are." 'Ugh I've had enough of this guy' "ok look dude I don't care I'm not like other girls and am not impressed go find someone else to bother." 

But of course he kept bothering you but you lost it when he tried to grab onto you waist. Getting upset you turned around and slapped him. "Whoa you little..." He brought his hand up "Hey leave her alone!" You suddenly heard someone say. Turing around you saw a boy with jet black hair and dazzling blue eyes run up towards you. "What are you gunna do about it freshman?" The other boy said back angrily "You'd be surprised." He said back confidently standing protectively in front of you. 

'Why is this boy standing up for me?' You wondered blushing a bit he was really cute. Snapping out of your thoughts you noticed a lot of people started to crowd around both you and the two boys "Oh really like I'd be surprised." The  sophomore said as he sung at the other boy. 

Before he could even make contact the boy grabbed his arm and twisted holding on to it tight. The sophomore struggled to get out of his grasp but clearly being the better person the other boy let go of his hand "Now ill say it again. Leave her alone." He said calmly but with a harsh tine in it. The sophomore looked like he wanted to continue but looking around at all the people he just angrily walked away. 

You didn't know this boy but without thinking you grabbed him in a hug catching him off guard "Oh my gosh thank you so much!" "No problem I'm sorry that happened on your first day." He said  accepting the hug. "But not every boy here is like that trust me." He said as we let go of each other "I'm Dick Grayson." He said holding out his hand "Y/N Y/L/N" you said shaking his hand. 

"Hey if you want I can show you around the school and help you find your classes." He said "Yeah sure!" You said back. "Great!" He said back excitedly. Even though you already looked around you still accepted, it was nice to have a friend and Dick seemed like a really nice guy you couldn't wait to get to know him more
