The Beginning.

Family.

Hello! 

I am Kiara Jones. I am ten years old. And this is my story!

Well talking about me, i have got nothing to speak on my behalf . I am an ordinary girl. I go to school , enjoy with my friends and I have this amazing family which loves me unconditionally.

Talking about family.There is no better thing in this whole world than family which understands you .

My family,it is just the same , normal family with mom , dad and an elder brother.

My mom's name is Kristine and dad's James and Jesse is my brother's.

My mom and dad both are doctors . Well.. I don't actually know what they do , but , they are doctors.

My brother , he is three years elder to me which makes him thirteen . He also has a simple life like mine.  

I and my brother are not just siblings but are also best friends. I must say he is the only best friend that I've got.

13th July 2000,

           It is a normal monsoon day.

"Wake up sweetie!" mom called me out by removing the curtains in my bedroom so that there could be more sunlight coming in it, which might make mom's work to wake me up much easier. I must say it did.

Mom had already woke my brother up and he was in the bathroom taking shower.I think mom might have also prepared the lunch for me and my brother to take it to school.

While I was thinking all this i was still in bed as i also tossed myself to the other side of the bed so that the sunlight could not affect me.But, mom being mom called me once again "Sweetie, if you don't wake up I will have to give your desert , that is your sweet sweet cupcake to your brother"

Well...... after hearing to that I could just not stop myself to be lazy anymore . I got up and in an anxious and sweet tone which had the power to get hold of anything , I asked my mom,"You will not give my cupcake to Jess, will you?"

"Oh dear! It was my plan to just wake you up nothing else ,you are still getting the cupcake. And as you are in the state go brush and then bathe yourself and come down for breakfast"

I nodded to my mother saying yes and went to brush my teeth. As I was brushing my teeth mom spoke in a load voice as she was making my bed,"Kia, well.. to make it to your notice there is no cupcake today. Like there is no desert today ."

I was still in the mood to go and sleep. But, as soon as I came to know what mom was actually talking about, I went back to my bedroom with the brush in my mouth . But what I see? Mom was already gone.

Few minutes later

I packed  my bag soon after dressing myself in comfortable clothes . Suitable for a school going girl like me.

I went down to have breakfast and I found all my family members in the dining hall , they were waiting for me. Soon after reaching there dad asked me,"Did you pray , my cupcake ?"

I always forget to pray and mom be's the one to remind me .But today as it was dad who reminded me, I prayed really hard like never before. It was really relieving .

Today mom and dad were talking about a really big surgery that they had to do I really don't know what they were actually talking about but, they seriously wanted to go early to the hospital.

Mom had called our maid who was going to take me and my brother to school.

While leaving the house mom and dad acted weird .

Mom then exclaimed,

"Sweet hearts take this really seriously . Listen to your dad and please don't interrupt him and let him tell what he wants to!"

Soon after keeping his and mom's bag in the car dad came in front of me and my brother and by making his position calm for himself spoke to my brother,

"Jesse, promise me that you will take care of your sister when I and your mother are not around.Promise me that no matter whatever happens , be my strongest kid. Never let your pride come first than your family because my dear son that is the only thing which will be left for you , which will help you in the times when you will be alone and no one else will be by your side."

The only thing that I understand by what Dada said to Jess was nothing but, by seeing my mother's state I realized something bad is going to happen. As I was so much busy in my own thinking i lost the track about what my dad was talking about.

Soon dad turned to me and said, "Sweet little cupcake! Don't you worry about anything!"
It was like dad understood my thoughts,he always does . This is the only part which I don't like is that I cannot hide anything from my dad.

Dad continued,
"I know at this moment you are really worried , both of you . You both have the faces which are saying why is dad and mom acting so strange. But trust me my dear there is nothing wrong or there is nothing wrong going to happen."

But i knew dad was lying because he was hesitating while explaining it to me . But still keeping my mouth shut I kept on nodding to my dad.

 
"You are my brave little girl" dad continued , "You have to hold on to you brother in every situation. You both have to be a family of yourself.Make this promise to me . Promise me that you will never fear anything or from anyone because as far a i know my children they don't fear anything."

After a few minutes with all the promises dad and mom hugged me and my brother and waved a goodbye like never before. I could see my mom's eyes ,they were just waiting to breakdown.

In the afternoon:

After a great day at school me and my brother returned to our house finding Harper our maid dressing the table for my brother and me.

she told us to wash ourselves and come down soon to have something. We enjoyed eating!

 After sometime Jess told me that we should finish our homework so that mom and dad will not have more work , such as to worry for us whether we finished our homework or not! 

I nodded my head to say yes to my brother and started with my work.

In night:

As soon as it turned eight in night Harper forced my brother and me to sleep even if we were not a early sleeping kids which she perfectly knew about . I don't know why she was forcing us so much. Maybe because while leaving , mom had told Harper something and she hesitated because she knew we are very dangerous kids to be handled.

But as soon as we slept , by the time it was eight thirty the doorbell of our house rang I soon got up because I knew mom and dad might have come and seeing my happy face to welcome them they would be so much happy .

But I heard Harper was talking to someone . But, that was neither the voice of my mom nor dad .

I hid myself behind the staircase and what I saw that the person to which Harper was talking to were not my parents but a man wearing a dress as if it was a uniform of some kind.

I could not make it out as it was dark. But then I went for a closer look and after seeing that I was in a shock.

I know that this chapter was way too descriptive and the story was just rolling around the family members but I will make it sure as I go to further chapters , this mistake does not happen.
