Ch.1

"My Lady, it's time to wake up", Vincent leaned closely to Kassidy's bed, and shook her gently. Vincent walked to her table where he had set her cup of coffee, she squinted in the morning light, "do I have to get up?", she asked groggily.

"Yes ma'am, you do, but I'm sure this will help", he said jokingly as he handed her the coffee. She took a sip, "you were right...", she set the mug on her nightstand, "...but I'm still tired", she quickly grabbed her blanket and laid back down giggling.

"Oh my, now what am I suppose to do about a lazy mistress", he said knowing the game. Kassidy continued giggling under her blankets. "Oh yes now I remember, my mistress has very ticklish feet." Vincent pulled at the blankets by Kassidy's feet, and started to tickle her feet. She squirmed uncontrollably, then sat up, "ok, ok. I'm up", she said laughing with tears in her eyes. "That's good, I will send Mira to assist you in getting dressed, then I will be up later with your polished boots, and your ring." Kassidy looked up from her coffee, "thankyou, Vincent." He turned to her and bowed, "yes my Lady, anything for you", with that he left.

Soon Mira walked in humming, "Good morning Lady Kassidy, how may I assist you." Kassidy slid out of bed and walked to her closet, Mira followed her humming like always.

The walk in closet was sectioned by clothing styles: skirts and petticoats, shirts, dresses, jackets, accessories, and shoes. In the center of the room there was a maniken and a couch. She went to the skirts, and grabbed her favorite black skirt and petticoat. Mira took the skirt and petticoat, and put it on the maniken. Next Kassidy grabbed a white silky shirt, Mira added it to the maniken and tucked it into the skirt as Kassidy did with that shirt. She added a jacket and a few more accessories, looking at her choices, she asked Mira what she thought about the outfit. "It's very beautiful, my Lady", Mira looked it over smiling.

"Very well then this is my outfit for today", Kassidy said, as she walked around the maniken. "Can you please lay the clothing on the sofa, then make my bed as I get dressed." Mira quickly bowed, and removed the garments from the maniken.

She left the closet, and saw that Vincent had started on the bed already, "you move quickly sir", she joked. "The mansion's steward should not be one to work idly," He stated as he fluffed the pillows, he picked up Kassidy's stuffed teddy dog and tucked it into the bed's comforter, "the last piece, you worked hard to protect her last night, Maximus, enjoy your rest", he joked. Mira giggled behind her hand. Kassidy opened her closet and walked out slowly.

"Now announcing Lady Kassidy Maria Isabella Halsted", Vincent announced as he and Mira bowed. She laughed along with them, and waved, "thankyou, thankyou you are so kind.
