No one knew why I was able to get hurt. That had put Mrs. Claus into a trance trying to figure it out. Claus and I ran into her room.

Don't get excited, I told myself. It could just be nothing.

"Well, I found out why harm can happen to you." Crap. Excited. "It was right in front of me the whole time. The only reason is because you aren't a Guardian. Sure, you're immortal. But you aren't one of them. Just like me. I can get hurt, although it takes a lot more to hurt me than it would a mortal. That is why you made the miraculous recovery; that is why you didn't die. That fact that you can live forever is what makes you so strong."

However, I was done with the whole hurt thing. I had seen Claus stub his toe. I no longer cared about it. "Why don't they believe in me? Am I alone?"

"Of coarse you aren't alone. No one believes in Pitch Black, or in Jack Frost. Why-"

"Who's Jack Frost?"

"He is another immortal who controls winter. He's about your age, I reckon."

"Where is he?"

"Wherever he wants to be."

I had no clue what to think. I wasn't alone! I didn't care about Pitch Black. Who would want to believe in him? I was surprised that I didn't see it before.

"Thank you for your hospitality."

"I wouldn't go after him if I were you. He is never-" I cut off North. (Apparently that's what they call him... Never would've guessed.)

"So you tell me that there is someone not evil out there that no one believes in, and is exactly like me- oh wait that's not enough flipping excitement for the day- NOW I CAN'T GO SEE HIM?WHY YOU DO THIS?"

North was holding in his laughter. "UUUGGGHHH! Bye."

^_^

I was roaming through a random street, causing snow everywhere. I saw a storm coming. I wondered why I didn't know about it.
