According to him, it was perfectly fine to set a blizzard on the equator. We talked for hours on whether or not it was right or wrong.
"I know you from somewhere." I finally gave up and just said what had been edging back into my mind for the last 20 minutes. I... just could not place it.
"So I win?" Delight and relief flooded through his voice.
"I hate to admit it, but yeah, you do." I thought for a second. " I still think it's wrong, but agree to disagree?"
"For now..." Playfully malicious eyes told me that this was far from over.
Where could I know him from? He wasn't all that plain. Not many people had white hair and pulled off looking so young. I thought about all of the places I'd been in my 300 years. Not too close to the equator. I had made sure to skim by there when going from one pole to the next. I had to visit the penguins sometime, right? Maybe I knew him from before I had settled into Demoa. Logic seemed to be pulling me that way, but since I was invisible to most people, there was no logic that had to be considered.
"How long have you been like this? How long have you had powers?" I asked.
Jack's eyes wandered as he thought. "Jeez. About 300, I guess. You?"
"Three hundred years." Okay. I had learned that most of the immortals came around at different times. Not too far apart, but they ALWAYS had at least a couple of hundred years between them.
"I recognize you, too. But I have been everywhere. We probably saw each other sometime. Logical explanations here, right?" He looked hopeful. "So have you seen the Rabbit's eggs? They are so overrated."
"Seriously. Where do I know you from? I wouldn't forget someone like you."
"Maybe you forget where you know me from because you didn't think that I would be able to see you. Do you know how much snow I delivered to Colorado last year? It was insane...."
Although his ADD was getting the best of him, I was determined to know where we could have met.

inside of Emma's thoughts, within a time of Jack's rant about Colorado snow.
I have not been anywhere aside from Demoa for the past 20 years. For eighty years before that, I stayed at the South Pole, visiting with some animal friends. The hundred years before that, I was watching the evolution of mankind. Flappers in the '20's, the properness in the mid eighteen hundreds... And before all of that, I was with the wonderful North walking around doing nothing but helping his carpets.

back to reality a whole of two minutes later
"... So yeah they had over 15 snow days. It made me so happy to watch them."
"We are going to see the Guardians."
"SERIOUSLY? YOU ARE STILL FIXED ON THAT? DID YOU HEAR NOTHING OF MY COLORADO YEARS?"
