It was a cold chilly November evening, a perfect day in all honesty. In a small city in Japan, a boy with short black hair was in a forest making sure he walked carefully. The ground was mushy and wet, and with one wrong step, he'd for sure roll down the mountain.

The boy looked like he was in his earlier twenties. He was a true beauty. He could easily be a model for any career line, he just had a dazzling body with a magnificent face. He was holding a camera while his other hand was grabbing onto trees for moral support.

Now why is a boy like him doing in a dangerous place like this? Well, the answer is actually quite simple. He adores taking pictures. Not only as a hobby, but as a job as well. As he got higher and higher into the mountain, he spotted something that caught his attention.

Owls. Sleeping owls.

He couldn't help but feel giddy inside because this was obviously something special to witness. He got in a perfect position and made sure his camera had the best angle it could have. He stayed still for a while until he decided to take the picture.

He gave a look at it, admiring not only the adorable birds but how the sunset made it look ten times better. He made sure to send the picture to his phone. "Bokuto-san will love this." He said to himself, as he walked deeper into the trees.

Although he knew it was extremely dangerous, he enjoyed going into these type of places. He would always see new things, or hell, he''d meet new people. That's why he loves being a photographer. It will always allow you to meet new people, have new experiences, go to new places, everything. Also, it payed a decent amount of money. But he knew you'd have to be good at it. No amateur could have a job like this.

The dark blue eye boy was shocked at what he found only moments after reaching what would most likely be the most flattest part on the mountain. It was a mother bear with of her cubs. He knew damn well he needed to leave, immediately. But hell. His body moved on its own. He got a bit closer, making sure he was well hidden in the bushes. He set up his camera and stayed completely still, looking at the bears though the lenses.

And that's when he realized he was fucked. Oh fuck, he was extremely screwed. The mother was staring at him. Intensively and aggressively. he knew he wasn't going to get out of this one safely, so he risked it.

He clicked the button on his camera, taking the picture but sending the massive anima roaring.

He didn't waste two seconds to start running in the direction he came from. It was nearly night, so it was about time to leave anyways. He ran crazy fast, hearing the loud footsteps behind him. Never had he been this scared in his own home town. He has been scared shitless countless times, but they were problems that were easier to break free from. Simple problems he knew it was possible to get out safely.

Now? Ha. His heart was pounding so hard. he was clenching his camera hard while trying his best to run as fast as he could while not losing balance and rolling down to what could lead to his death.

Oh, but the attempt was futile. His own foot got stuck between two branches, making him trip and roll for a while until he hit the trunk of an overly large tree way too hard. He gasped as he felt the air in him leave his body, making everything dizzy. The boy was panicking now. If he died right here and right now, he knew no one would realize. No one would ever think he died in the fucking woods.

His hands stumbled for his phone, taking it out quickly and finding the first chat he had. It was with Kuroo-san. They had talked about them meeting each other in just four days for the boys next trip. His fingers had never once moved so quickly to send a text.

Once he was done sending the text, he put his phone away with speed. He quickly got up, ignoring the massive pain coming from his back. He clenched his camera, hard, knowing it had taken no damage whatsoever. He looked around in every direction possible, hoping the bear was long gone.

But it was like the world was in his favor today, because sure enough, the bear was there. They locked eye contact, knowing very well what was going to happen next.

They both started to run, both equally as fast. He knew all those years in volleyball practice were going to pay off one day... But today just wasn't that day. As if he had been expecting it, his feet gave up on him as he was sent rolling down with force once more; an extra push wit a lot of fucking blood added this time.

While rolling down, he was almost certain that he was going to die. Although Akaashi was determined to hold onto his camera like it was more important than his life.

Well, to him, it was.

But when he was starting to gain hope that he might only leave with a small injury from the wild animal, his head hit a rock. Hard. That was when everything went black.
