Summary: Tobin moves to Los Angles with her family and just happens to be neighbors with a certain blue eyed girl.

"Tobin! Can you get the last boxes from the moving truck?" Tobin's mom called from upstairs as Tobin unpacked boxes marked 'kitchen'.
"Sure!" The girl called, raising her voice a little so she would hear her.
Tobin walked down the drive way grabbing the box and turning around to walk back inside but stopped mid-turn as she notice a pretty brunette standing on the front porch next door smiling at her. The midfielder smiled back, nodding her head because if she waved she will most likely drop the boxes in her hands.
The brunette waved back and turned around going inside her house.
The tan girl walked inside, putting the boxes on the living room floor, which at the moment was just a room with a couch, and went up to her room to start building her bed frame or else she will be sleeping on the floor tonight.
Tobin finished building the bed frame and put the heavy mattress on top of it before grabbing a bottle of water chugging half of it in one gulp and looked out her bedroom window, seeing another window in front of her's. Her mouth suddenly formed a smile as she saw the pretty brunette sitting on the edge of her bed, as much as she could see through the medium sized window. Tobin saw her getting up and walking to the window, reaching to close the blinds when suddenly she noticed Tobin and smiled again before finally closing the blinds, making the older girl close her blinds as well.
The next day The middy woke up and went to brush her teeth before eating breakfast. After about 2 hours she was already sitting in the living room watching tv as much as she could because a few boxes were blocking her line of sight, when she heard the doorbell ring.
"Toby, can you get that?" Her mom said from the kitchen.
Tobin cringed a little at the nickname and got up to open the door.
Brown eyes met crystal blue ones once the door was opened and Tobin couldn't help the small smile that was tugging at her lips.
"Uh hey. I'm Alex." The brunette said with a smile, reaching to shake the older girl's hand.
Tobin gladly shook her hand smirking a little at the girl's raspy voice and smiled back.
"Tobin."
"I like your name Tobin."
"Any particular reason?" She smirked.
"I don't know. It sounds... Exotic." Alex giggled.
Tobin chuckled and stared at Alex's beautiful eyes.
"I know this is really cheesy and whatever but my mom baked you brownies." She laughed. It was only then that Tobin noticed a small plate in the other girl's right hand covered in aluminum foil.
"Thank you, that's really sweet." She smiled and took the plate from the forward's hands, setting it on a box a few feet from the door.
"You like soccer?" Alex asked.
Tobin gave her a questioning look before opening her mouth only to get cut off by the other girl.
"Uh how did y-"
"Your shirt." The forward chuckled.
Tobin looked down and noticed She was wearing a shirt with the US soccer crest on it.
"Yeah actually." The midfielder gave a nervous laugh, mentally hitting herself in the head for not realizing that sooner.
"Me too. Do you play?" She asked.
