Ayesha said she'll come over after the kids to get out of school. So Stephen took Alonzo, Ashley,and SJ to my parents house while Riley came home with me. Riley helped me cook dinner and prepare for her to come. Riley then took a bath once Stephen came."What you thinking about baby?"Stephen asked."Nothing, I'm just nervous about everything and I hope she comes, I'm that she won't."I said."I believe she'll come baby."He said giving me a kiss."I packed your clothes for the road."I said."Thanks baby."he said.I sighed "I hate when you gotta go on the road for your games. I real deal be missing you."I whined."I'll quit."he said smirking.I laughed and said"No baby don't do that." He gave me another kiss and went upstairs to our room. Minutes later Riley came in the kitchen with me."Did you hear from her yet?"Riley asked."Not yet bunny, just be patient she'll come, hopefully."I said.Riley sighed and sat at the table to eat.She then went to the living room to watch tv. It was getting late and Riley ended up falling asleep. So I carried her to her room and tucked her in. That's when I got a text from Ayesha.

Ayesha- hey, may you tell Riley I'm sorry for not coming
Me- Why didn't you come?
Ayesha- It's best I don't come. You're right I shouldn't have came in the first place. She doesn't need me, she has you. She would never look at me as her mother. You are her mother and I can't change it.
Me- Ayesha you can't just do that. Follow through with what you do. You really changed her life now. You come into her life while she six, tell her you're her real mother and then change your mind and say you don't want to be her mother. No it's not like that. Now she will be hurt because she knows you're her mother and you don't even want to be in her life.
Ayesha-I'm sorry, I just won't be nothing to her.
Me-You'll be her mother, but it's all good Ayesha. Riley will be fine and she will forgive you. Have a nice night.
End of Convo
I just sat there in the kitchen. I couldn't believe this was happening. All of this was unnecessary, Riley will now go through life knowing she has a mother who isn't in her life. It really upsets me. Stephen came in the kitchen."What happened baby?" Stephen asked. Talking about it just upsets me. So I gave him my phone so he could read the messages."Wow , I can't believe it. "Stephen said."This is what I feared the most. Why would she do that to Riley? I knew this wouldn't turn out well."I said."She just basically said Hey I'm your mother, ok bye now. That's messed up"Stephen said."It really bothers me. We was so fine without her."I said.I left the kitchen and went to take a shower. Stephen came in the bathroom and sat on the counter."Ashlen, you're all the mother Riley needs, its good Riley knows about Ayesha. She can now move on in life feeling complete."Stephen said."I know I am, that's why she didn't have to know about that girl.Riley now knows her mom ain't shi-, I'm sorry. Her mom is- you know what never mind, I don't wanna talk about it no more. It's in the past."I said as I dried off. Stephen chuckled and shook his head. I got dressed and went to Riley's room. She was up laying there.So I carried her to my room, so that she can sleep in bed with us."Mommy, its ok. You're the only mom I need. I love you."Riley said. I kissed her forehead and said "Love you too bunny." Stephen then got in bed with us and we all went to bed.
