I'm looking around the living room instead of his eyes I know. Call me a coward I don't care he... he makes me feel things. Things that I want to feel but I can't risk it for what I am.
"Rachel do you know what a mate is?" he said looking at me in the eyes when I turned to him and finally looked at him.
"Sadly I don't know what that is. Are we finish now?" I said impatiently. I want to get away from here I noticed the more I stay I want to stay with him. To touch him heck!!!!To kiss him like their isn't a tomorrow. When I look back I accidentally made eye contact with him but that's all he needed to continue.
" Well a mate is your other half, your soul mate, your one true love. When your with him or her your drawn to that person like your life depends on them. You have a connection with them and when you first meet them..." he looks at me like really looks at me then said to me " you fall in love with them instantly."
I stared at him speechless. How can you fall in love just like that with him or her? Like I feel a connection with him but that's that's...our wolfs feelings it has nothing to do with us though. So technically our wolfs are in love but not us we just feel the bond strongly is all...
"Can I ask you something Alpha Darien?" he flinched at that.
"Yes, but you don't need to call me alpha you can call me by my name."
"...are you in love... with me?" I asked nervously.
"....I am."
"... I was afraid of that." I mumbled to myself but since he has good hearing he got in time.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR AFRAID OF THAT???!!!!" he stand up and shouted across the room.
I looked at him right in the eyes and said "Well one were not exactly in love our wolfs are!! Two well its the bond that makes us attracted to each other but that's it!!! Were complete strangers to one another why would I love you??"
He looks at me and sighs loudly and sits back down.
"Rachel it's not just that we were made for each other that how it was made for all wolves! Every one wolf has his or her mate to be with forever...unless"
I arch my brow to him.
"Unless...unless what Darien?"
He looks at me his eyes hold so much sadness what he's about to tell me.
"...unless you reject... your mate..." he says so sadly to me while holding my eyes.
When he said that I just couldn't help but let sadness wash over me... I can't do that to him it hears like it will kill a mate if he or she was rejected... Even if I don't like this bond between us I can't reject him. I felt his sadness if I were to reject him I will scar him.
"Dair- I was cut off by his pleading.
"Please please please...don't do this to me Rachel I waited for you a long time."
* just give him a chance Rachel...* Clarissa said in mind link to me.

Clarissa tugged at my shirt. I glanced at her from my corner of my eye.

I looked at Darien.
"Please give me a chance at being your mate. I will protect you cherish you forever. I will be their for you always. So please just give me a chance! If you still decide to not be my mate and you wish to go...then I would let you go."
I looked at him shocked. I thought if I left he will just restrain me or Locke up somewhere.
I sighed and look at his eyes when said
