Getting to know him

I sigh and I say to him.

"I...fine I will give us a chance at us being...mates."

Saying he was happy was a lie he's beyond happy when he heard the words. It was like telling your kid you can get as much candy as you want in the store.

"THANK YOU RACHEL!!!!" he said yelling and standing up from his seat. He was grinning ear to ear when he heard me say I will give him a chance...

Sighing and mentally telling myself hoping I'm not regretting my decision. Don't get me wrong I want to have a happy ever after. I want to get married and have kids and more. I want what a regular person would want. But I can't... it's to dangerous it's to risky if I stay some were to long. As much as I don't want to say it...I'm starting to care about Darien.

[COUGH]

I look up at Darien and raise a brow to him.

" I was calling your name but you were distracted...mind if I ask what was distracting you?"

"...if I come to trust you enough."

His face fell when I said those words. His eyes held sadness when I practically said I didn't trust the guy. But you can't blame me I don't trust anybody, only Clarissa that was holding my hand still.

"Well I will show you to your room. Then you can -"
He looked at me up and down before saying.

"...shower and I will send somebody for you for dinner." He said standing up and waited for me. I can't help but feel calm when he's around. But that didn't mean I let my guard down no no no. It just made me get more tense and more on guard then anything. I got a little annoyed how he said it to me.

"...Are you saying I stink?" I said offended.

His eyes widen then his feelings came to me in a instant. Regret. He feels horrible he thinks he hurt me with his words.

"NO NO NO!!!! I would never! Its just your covered in a black paint its all over you...so. I thought you wanted to take a shower."

Ohhh I forgot about that. Since I covered my coat with the paint and when I turn back well the paint its still on.

It looks like I had a face paint all over my body it's light gray on my white skin. I'm not practically pale but not so much tan either.

"Oh...ok." I said standing up to my feet while Clarissa followed suit.

"GREAT!! Follow me." He said standing and showing us to our room I guess. We turned so many times then a flight of stairs and more turns. Finally we got to a corner to a room then turned to face us.

"Well if you need anything else please don't feel shy and ask." With that he smiled warmly to us and left. I slowly opened the doors and boy was it huge!!!! Queen bed, plasma screen tv and more!!! I feel like he's spoiling us I never had this when I was living alone.
Heck I didn't have a decent bathroom to that matter! Still though I didn't have a tv or anything well at this time period because I was living in the woods so...yeah.

"JESUS YOU HAVE ANSWERED MY PRAYERS!!!!!" I jumped at the sound of Clarissa's voice that echoes in the huge room. Then with that she jumped on the bed and sighed dramatically. I rolled my eyes at her. She would think of this as a miracle. I don't I just want to go back to my cabin and not worry. Then again I will still have to worry about my safety but still I want to go back.

I walk to the closet and I got a shirt and some sweats. Like no lie it was PACKED of clothes!!!!! Still though I don't want to show for unwanted attention. Well I don't not like sluts that is or drama queens.

I walk in the bathroom and getting the water ready for a nice shower. Then I have to see what waits for me in the dinner table with my...mate.


I feel so bad I haven't updated but I will more promise!!!!
