These were the kind of moments that made me stop and think. They made me retrace my steps to how I got here and everything it took to stand next to her.
We sat in silence for hours as we waited for the sun to show.
I looked over to her, the blackness of the room hiding that pretty face.
"Some people are terrified of the dark, I can't imagine what it must be like to live in it." I spoke.
I heard her giggle. "I would say that is quite insensitive of you, but really, it's just not true. My existence is full of color and light."
"We just have different ideas of what that light looks like."
