Chapter 6

"MADDIE!! Wake up!!!" Someone yelled at my face.
I blinked my eyes, not sure who it was yet, I looked at my alarm clock and it was 5:30 AM. I looked back at the figure, who were two figures now. Brooke and Daniel. They smiled at me.

"Wake up bitch, we don't wanna waste any time today." Said Brooke.

"You guys, I miss you." I said, hugging them both. I really did miss them and I haven't been talking a lot to them, they were busy and so was I.

"Get dressed and meet us at the beach. We're going for a swim then we're going on an adventure." Said Daniel.

As soon as they got out of my room I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, washed my face and did my hair into two french braids. I wore a pink neon bikini and a white short dress and white flipflops. I grabbed my beach bag and put sunblock and a towel in it, a long with my polaroid camera.

"Good morning grandma."  I said, kissing my grandma.

"Your grandma makes the best cookies ever to be honest." Said Brooke, with a mouthful.

"Tell me about it! She's gonna get me all fat because of them." I laughed.

As we were walking on the beach and putting our towels on the sand to take a little tan, I saw a figure coming closer and closer. Jack.

"Hey baby." He said, as he came closer and kissed my cheek.

"Hey" I said, with a big smile.

Daniel and Brooke looked at me with their mouth open. I wasn't the relationship type or any sort of dealing with boys in that way type back in newyork. I just kind of stuck to myself.

"Brooke, Daniel, this is Jack. He's my, uhm, boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you. You better treat her nicely and if you don't I'll kick your ass." Said Daniel, way to make it even more awkward Danny.

Jack laughed. "Don't worry man, I am." He didn't seem threatened.

"Do you guys wanna go for a swim?" I said, trying to break the silence.
They all agreed and Jack took my hand and pulled me with him to the beach, it was kind of wavy today so he fell while pushing me. I laughed, then I fell after him. Karma.

After a lot of trying to avoid waves, we finally gave up and we all sat on our towels, I was cuddling Jack and sort of falling asleep, Brooke was reading a book and Daniel was listening to music.

"So, jack" said brooke, smiling, "Do you live here?"

"Yeah, I do." He said, he was really friendly today.

"So you can take us on an adventure today?" She asked, grinning.

"Yeah. Well, my friend Sam is doing a party today, you guys are welcome to join if you want. It's a pool party."

"Perfect. We'll see you tonight then."

She stretched her arms, giving me her hand as a signal that it's time to go. I rolled my eyes.

"I'll see you tonight." I said to Jack, before kissing him.

"So let's talk about your boyfriend whom you never told me shit about!!" Said brooke.

"There just wasn't a right time to tell you. I don't even know what we are. I like him and he likes me. I don't want it to be complicated. I'm leaving when the summer is over anyway." I said.

"Yeah but still, you should've told me. Now, what are we wearing to this pool party?" She asked.

I showed her my outift. "Hot." She said.

Jack's POV

"Yo man, you invited madison right?" Asked Sam.

"Yeah, why?" I asked. He was being weird.

"Nothing, Just wondering."

She came through the door with Brooke and Daniel but she was all that my eyes were on. She wore a white bikini top and a snake leather type of bikini bottoms. She looked hot.

"Hey babe." I said, kissing her on the mouth. Brooke and Daniel were staring at us. "Hey guys." I said, laughing.

"Guys! These are madison's friends from ny. Brooke and Daniel. Be nice." I said.

"I'll be right back babe, I'll get us some drinks."
She said okay, and went into the hot tub.

Madison's POV

"Hey mads!" Said Sammy. I could tell he was drunk. And why was he saying hi to me? Not like we ever talk.

"Hey sam." I said.

"How about we go somewhere quiet, just me and you?" He asked, grinning.

"I don't think so."

"Come on babe, i can tell you want me."

"I don't like you that way." I said.

He grabbed my hand. "Come on lets go upstairs."

"I said I-" I started to speak until I saw Jack coming up to us.

"I think she said no!" He yelled, before punching him in the face. "What the fuck is wrong with you man?"

He took my hand and led me upstairs.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Are you okay?" His hand was red. And it was shaking. I held on to it. He looked me in the eyes and kissed me.
Someone knocked on the door. I went to open it and it was Maggie. With a bag of ice. How considerate.

She was going to come in but I stopped her.

"Thanks maggie, for the ice bag. I can handle comforting my own boyfriend." I smiled, before closing the door in her face.

"What was that all about?" Asked Jack.

"Nothing. Just overheard her say some stuff."

"Like what?"

"Like nothing. Don't worry about it."

I kissed him again, placing the bag of ice on his hand.
He threw it on the ground and kissed my mouth and then kept kissing my neck.
"Are we going to fast? I can stop if you want." He said. He was sweet and considerate.
"I'm fine, we're not going fast at all." I said, pushing my lips onto his and kissing him back.
