Madison's POV
I got out of bed at 9:00 AM to make some coffee. I was still kind of sleepy but I woke up early because I didn't stay that late at Jack's house yesterday.
~new message from jack gilinsky~
Jack: hey are you up yet?
Madison: yeah, how come you're up so early haha
Jack: couldn't sleep well all night. Weird dreams too.
He called me after that.
"Good morning babe, did you sleep well?" He asked.
"Yeah I did." I smiled. "Hold up, let me make some coffee."
"Oh my god! Jack! My grandma - she's on the floor. She's not moving, I think she fell! I'm gonna call 911."
I hung up on him without even thinking about it. I called 911 and the ambulance came to take her to a hospital. I was really worried. By the time the ambulance came, Jack was pulling up in the driveway.
"Hey baby, she's going to be okay." He said, hugging me.
We were driving after the ambulance car. My hands were shaky and I started getting really nervous, Jack felt it and stretched out his arm to hold my hand in his.
We finally arrived to a hospital.
I always hated hospitals. The smell, the sounds, everything.
It looks like death. It makes me feel sad, empty.

"I'm afraid your grandma has stage 4 breast cancer. The tumor has gotten bigger and the cancer just spread everywhere. I'm sorry." He said.
I could feel my heart banging in my chest, my legs felt like jello, I couldn't move.
Did she know? How could she not tell me?
"How-" I said, unable to speak. "How long till she-"
"A couple of weeks. Maybe a few. Not sure. A month if she's lucky."
"Thanks." Said Jack, before hugging me.
I couldn't do anything but cry and hold on to him more.
"You know mads" he said, "it's better that way, I mean ofcourse you'll miss her but she's probably in pain. She has to rest baby."
I nodded. I already knew that, he didn't have to tell me.

Hey guys, please don't hate me & also I'm sorry for this short chapter but my chapters are always short so.. Anyway I found an ending for this story & had a couple of more ideas about other new stories!
This story will end soon because like I said it is a short story, will probably have 14-15 chapters!
So that means only 4-5 chapters are left! Im so excited 😛
