Different (lucaya)

Today was perfect

Maya's Pov:

"I want you Maya I'm in love with you"

What did I hear him correctly or am I just that crazy

"W-what"
I barely managed to get out

"I said I'm-"

I quickly cut him off

"Ya I know what you said Lucas but how can that be possible I don't understand"

I said I this point I'm standing up looking at Lucas while he is sitting on the bench

"Your beautiful, flawless, sarcastic, majestic Maya your amazing how can I not be in love with you"

I feel tears prickle in my eyes
I've never heard anyone talk about me like that before

"Lucas I'm broken and insecure and I'm not good for you, you deserve someone better then me your to good to be good for me"

(That last line is from a song who knows it? I swear if you do then your my new Best friend)

Then Lucas stood up and kissed me ... Again

After a while I pushed him off

"No Lucas we can't I can't I'm not good for you please just
stop"

"Maya your the one whose to good for me Maya don't you see, we both are broken but that's why we need each other to fix each other" 

I stood there thinking

"Once your broken you can't be fixed Lucas I'm not worth your time  I'm a slut with daddy issues and lying about who she is Lucas I CAN'T"

I screamed at him

I then started walking away but Lucas pulled on my wrist and turned me around so now I bumped into his chest

"Don't ever say those things about yourself Maya your worth way more then you give yourself credit for"

I feel tears streaming down my cheek

"Maya would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend"

I'm stunned I can't move or anything

"Lucas I love you too"

Then I bring his face to mine and kissed him

"Is that a yes?"

I laugh

"Yes"

We kiss again and then Lucas brings me to a cafe  and we had our first official date

Monday

It's Monday and I've never been happier

Lucas picks me up at my house and we both head to school

We walk in holding hands and I feel all eyes on us

Then I hear Riley squealing
I let go of Lucas's hand and go to her

"Is it official are you guys dating omg you look so cute together"

I laughed

"Thanks riles"

The bell rang and we head to our first class

And mine and Lucas's was art

"Okay class today is your last day to finish the art projects with your partner work hard"

Luckily me and Lucas were already finishing

I was drawing a cowboy hat and next to it some cowboy shoes and in the background some buildings to symbolize New York
My pieces was saying

No matter what happens to Lucas he will always be a cowboy and now New York is part of his adventure

Lucas was doing a big beautiful blue eye

On one side was dark blue almost black in that side you see a little girl by herself

On the other side it's a beautiful light blue like my eyes

And you see a girl holding hands with a guy

Honestly it's beautiful

"Lucas it's beautiful"

"Thanks yours is amazing"

I blush

"Thanks cowboy"
I kiss his cheek and we keep working

By the end of class we both finished our paintings and turned them in we got An A

Today was just perfect
